Debatl, I don't know how it started, but it keeps coming up.  I first heard about it from Arubans and an Alabama journalist posted about it in either the ScaredMonkeys or Riehl World comments last week.

I hadn't heard anything about mileage.  Just that Joran's story didn't make geographical or logical sense because of the destinations and where they were located in respect to his home.  THAT of course was when he was saying they took him home and then the brothers took her to the hotel.  BUT, I have to remember that before that story he said they all took her back to the hotel and a black security guard approached her.  BUT, both of those stories were before this latest story (if true) that the brothers dropped he and Nat at the beach by the Marriot and she walked to her hotel and he walked home...hmmmm...if it walks like a duck...

Well last time I was in Aruba (awhile ago)I remember the side of the island with the Natural Bridge, Pools, and caves - that was quite a ways away.  So my point being - the original item I heard was that the mileage once checked out was actually more (much I think) than that of having just drove from CNC's to lighthouse back to HI?

I just dont know what to think other than I really (sad to say) think this ball is really in Joran's court.  He is the one with the romantic link.  Not saying that the bros are heros by any means.  But I believe they probably did leave him alone with her.  They may have gone back to drive him home or who knows bring him more drugs???????

To Sleek: My guess would be that they took Natalee to the southern end of the island, far away from where the previous searches were held. There was a report earlier this AM that Joran made a call from his cell phone from the southern end of the island around 6:30 am* on the morning Natalee disappeared. So, the 3 might have worked all night to dispose of the body.

I agree with you, professor!  I've said all along that there's a little truth in every lie.  I think her bod's in the southern/southeastern part of Aruba.

I think there's merritt in your theory. However I would hardly give the scum credit for being pros. At 17 how much experience could one have and a pro would have had his story ready to go and be sticking to it. Not changing it as these fellas have. I also don't feel a pro would have chosen an individual that was part of large group.

NH has been SOLD. Don't shoot the messenger. The truth is ugly and it hurts. We must deal with it though as adults and stop pretending it doesn't happen. There's BIG money playing the game. Here's an example:
You buy a blonde women (popular where everyone is dark headed) for $100,000. She could easily make you $50,000 a year for say 20 years. After 2 years she's paid for and pure profit. $50,000 x 20 years = $1,000,000.
We lead sheltered lives in the US. Painfull to think about but it happens
ALL the time. She's NOT on Aruba, look all you want. She left Aruba on a boat within an hour of leaving the bar. This is the ONLY scenario that fits all the "evidence". She was stalked from day 1, nothing accidental about it. Time will bear this out.

Hi - well Like I said I haven't been to Aruba in years but the side Im referring to IS the opposite end of the HI side.   I stayed at LaCabana and that was located south of the highrises.  The area I am talking is even further south (or at least further away from the Lighthouse).

Although the slave trade theory is possible, I really think NH's death was an accidental overdose.  I think these boys have used the drug on other girls before (probably their last night in Aruba) but this time things got out of control.  They've buried her somewhere or fed her to the sharks.  I hope it's the latter and they find her body.  There will be DNA in her to show all 3 boys were involved.

Here is a recap of the Most Believable Scenario (MBS). Joran van der Sloot and Deepak and Satish Kalmoe fed Natalie Holloway a date rape drug just before she left Carlos and Charlie's. To her friends, she appeared sober, but within minutes she was incapacitated and was shoved into a car and told that she was being driven back to her hotel. She was driven to a remote location, far from the Marriott and far from the Holiday Inn, and raped by all 3. Under the MBS, the Kalmoe brothers were in on the crime, since there would be no other way for Joran to get a ride home and it was over 2 miles to his house. This also explains why all 3 lied about the two security guards. Sometime during the rape, something bad happened, and Natalie was killed. Her body was disposed of, perhaps with the help of others. Perhaps Joran's family. But she was not disposed of at the site where Deepak claimed he dropped off Joran. That was just a smoke screen. Now, 17 days have passed. Valuable forensic evidence has either been disposed of or degraded, and all 3 suspects are beginning to feel that they can "beat the rap," if they can just maintain a consistent story. It may be full of inconsistencies, but, at this point, the prosecution will have a hard time proving that a crime has been committed.

My guess might be the summer between 7th and 8th.  That is when most parents make moves so the kids don't have to change in the middle of the year.  So last year in old school would be 7th, first in new school 8th.

White slavery theory and premeditation see far-fetched. Why? Because Joran and the Kalpoe brothers had a high profile and Carlos and Charlie's. If they intended to kidnap Natalee and to sell her into white slavery, they would have snatched her when she was separated from the group. Besides, why would they need to kidnap a rich girl from the USA, when there were plenty of pretty native girls around? Why get the FBI involved? That would be the last thing a white slavery ring would want to do.

I know you hate hearing this, but what's the latest? I soooooo need to get work done today instead of reading/responding to SM (I'm addicted!), but I need my fix for the day.

I did glance at a couple of posts. Brenda said something about the phone call being made June 1, but Natalee disappeared May 30 and I thought the 6:30 am call was from that morning of the 30th.

Also, I agree Professor. I said last night if the 3 boys said she was on the northwest part of the island, that meant she's on the southeast. I think whatever they say, go 180 degrees -- the other way. Or go inland where there are less people than on the coast.

The scenario of a Watery disposal is probable, but that would entail some kind of boat to get far away enough... or knowledge of strong current to carry the body.  Did any search get done at the public Dump?  I remember it being near the airport area.
