On the bigger picture, looks like the bros stick together (in more ways than one). I keep trying to think back to situations when I met people at that age. I keep having the thoughts, they thought Joran was popular and they were new. Most likely wanted to fit in and get in with everyone. I am wondering if they have money because they were working and stated they were students. Joran and his friends seem to come from well to do families and don't work. Also wonder where they were going to school?

She meets this guy...he talks about his father being a Judge and how their family is a prestigious one....he has this accent...probably says all the right things (little brother sure did on his site to his little girlfriend..must have gotten that from big brother)...of course she is going to find him interesting....he comes from "good" people

If it is true that Joran's friend is a bartender at the bar....that explains how the drugs got into her drink...hmmmm....

Who said that one of the brother's was hiding down in the seat???  if that is true...it is likely that she did think it was a cab.

The rumor that was just said about them thinking she was yelling for help...that freaks me out!

I am encouraged to hear that they detained another suspect today, and that there may be others.

This could mean someone is holding her - someone was was going to kidnap her, ransom, something with her, and then they got cold feet.

Round 'em all up!!!!   And then, Danish interrogators for them all.

I wonder if she had even met the brothers before that last night......I guess I assumed that she had met him before.  Has anybody said if Joran was alone in the casino??

I don't know that anything has ever actually been reported on this, but I noticed that no one ever mentions the brothers when they talk about Joran and his contact with Nat and her group.  Leads me to believe that she or her group had not met them at all.

Dash' friend last night said that he was just hanging around from about the day before with the MB group.  I can see it now.  Kissin up to several with an eye for one victim.

I'm sorry to keep posting my thoughts...but my mind is going in circles...


Maybe Joran is the brother's supplier...maybe they were getting into the drug dealer thing...maybe that is the hold he has/HAD on them?????

One more thing.  Since I am not sure if everyone has seen this post before, I'll copy and paste it below.  Although it is long, it seems extremely relevant since we were discussing the moments leading up to the mysterious disappearance.  I replaced a name with a -- (some of you will know why).  I also broke it up into paragraphs to make it easier to follow.  It has some SIGNIFICANT clues from an eyewitness:

"My daughter spoke with Natalee right after C&C's closed. My daughter & her friends came across Nat & Joran as all were exiting the club, and all were walking more or less together toward another group of classmates.

Natalee was walking unassisted (not falling down drunk), spoke ok (though not answering in long sentences), and was not touching Joran. My daughter only noticed that Joran was tall, dark-haired, American-looking; he did not speak and she couldn't read his facial expressions.

Nat turned down my daughter's invitation to go with her little group. (Ironically, they were about to circle the inside of another club to make sure no others were left behind.)

Nat assured them that she was fine, and said she was going to go back to the hotel "with THEM," pointing to the MBHS group just a few yards ahead.

The Kalpoes were nowhere in sight; neither was the car.

Next -- heard was that Natalee got into a car that many in the group had thought was a taxi. (Those look like regular cars.)

It may be that the Kalpoes pulled up on the street before Natalee reached the next group; Joran may have deliberately stalled her. The group may not have even realized she was behind them, approaching.

But while we hear that she got in the car willingly, we know from her comments that it was not her pre-planned intention. Because of this, I do not believe she knew she would be going anywhere but a fairly short distance down to the hotel. Her plans changed in the blink of an eye, and she was gone.

Re: swimsuits. Many of the girls wore their suits under their street clothes almost everywhere. I think it's a nonissue, though, because I think it's clear she did not plan to go sightseeing, carousing, OR swimming. These brats are setting up more diversionary scenarios. This one in particular frightens me because it makes me think she cannot be alive, and her body may never be found. These past few days have been a horror."

Did anyone catch the guys name that they interviewed tonight on FOX, I think it was.  They had a pretty long piece about the story and this diving/recovery expert saying that an object thrown in the water in Aruba would head straight to Panama, they had seen that with lost boats and such..Made me cringe to hear them saying that and trying not to say body.
