"Pope Francis gives church hundreds of new saints"

Francis prayed that "Colombia's beloved children continue to work for peace and just development of the country."

What is 'just development' in the US?  The Federal Reserve?  Bailing out large global banks, businesses, and elites?  Cost, debt, on the backs of the masses?

Francis prayed that the new Mexican saint's intercession could help the nation "eradicate all the violence and insecurity," an apparent reference to years of bloodshed and other crime largely linked to powerful drug trafficking clans.

Why aren't Mexican drug clans held accountable for the violence?  'you can't change others, you can only change yourself' - Why isn't that the message from Washington?  Instead, it seems we have an administration that continues to 'blame America first'...

He hailed the Mexican saint for renouncing a comfortable life to work with the sick and poor, even kneeling on the bare floor of the hospital before the patients to serve them with "tenderness and compassion."

For some reason, elites in government and the private sector never give up their own wealth, they just want to appropriate (tax, steal, regulate, fee) the fruit of other people's labor.  How much money do the Obama's or Gores's really need to live on?  Why isn't the excess donated?
