USF scientists provide face, new clues for unsolved Sumter County homicide

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. - "She was a homicide victim by gunshot," said Sumter County Sheriff's Office Detective Darren Norris.

She died in the woods.

"I plead with your viewers, each and every one of you, they watch this story carefully," said Detective Norris.

Sumter County Sheriff's Detectives had few clues who she was or what she looked like.

"Somebody out there is missing a loved one," he said.
