Every time I reload a forum page in the past week or so, I get this error above.

Anyone else getting this?

It always works okay after I reload the page again, though.
I am getting the same thing. I just thought it was me. Took me about 6 times before I could get to your post.  Glad to hear it isn't just me.

Thanks, GE. Good for us both to know it is not just us.

I have even gotten it when trying to make a post. LOL

Hope you are doing well. It's too quiet in this thread.

Me too and then I am not sure if the post has gone thru or not.

Been taking granddaughter to and from work. Just glad it's not been early mornings.

Taking car in tomorrow to get the door fixed where the gentleman hit it. There were no questions about his insurance paying to fix it. He told them he drove right into the side of my car. Don't have any idea how long they will have it. But since I am getting a rental that's no big deal.

How are you doing? Still enjoying your new home?

Yes, I know there are connection problems.  I've told Red..that's about all I can do.  Have no idea what's wrong.  Seems intermittent.

Ahh, good you are getting your car repaired and his insurance is covering it. A rental is a good thing, especially since you are now a taxi. heh

I remember when some gal ran into me years ago, I got a rental from her insurance company and it was a much better car than what I had been driving. It was both a lifesaver (I had to drive to work daily) and a luxury.

Loving the house, more every day.

Missing having a four-legged family member here; hubby and I are going to visit the county's animal shelter on Saturday to see if our next dog is there. We really love the temperament and activity of Goldens, so are wanting to find at least a part Golden that needs a home. (Seems most we have seen online who need homes are pit bulls and mixes thereof.)

I looked up Greyhounds, since there seem to be quite a few retired Greyhounds who need homes, but I think their temperament is not going to be suited for us. They are so used to being with other dogs and other people at all times, that separation anxiety is an issue. They tend to jump fences (ours is only 4') when outside and lose sighht of their human, even for a moment, to go find them. They run so fast, you can never catch them, and they have absolutely no fear or sense of traffic. So from that preliminary reading I did on Greyhounds, they do not seem like a good fit for us. I did learn that they only race for around 2-5 years before being retired and that their races are very short. Their races last about 30 seconds! And they are couch potatoes. LOL

Anyway, we know there is a friend out there waiting on us, we just have to find her!

Brandi, yes there are lots of doggies waiting for furever homes.

If you find one online and need helping in transporting (free), just let me know.  My Belle came from Alabama and even had an overnight.

Blessings to all.

Yes, I remember watching Belle's progress from Alabama to your house! Lucky girl(s)!

Oh, and then watching her progress in her training! That was amazing.

Well took the car in to get the estimate on getting it repaired. Because the car is a 99. The insurance company says no can do. It will cost more than the value of the car. Never mind that it is in excellent shape low mileage. They want to total it and give us the low value price. That's not going to happen. So looks like hubs will have to fix it. And we will be paying for the parts. Just tics me off.

Oh dear!

I had that happen to me years ago as well. Stunk!

They gave me a small sum (that was not enough to buy another car that was remotely in the same shape as mine). I asked if I could also keep the car and use that money to fix it. Nope. Had to let them take the car if I wanted any money at all.

I am so sorry, Green Eyes. But I can vouch for that is how it works for older cars and insurance companies.

Thanks Brandi I know. So we will fix it our selves.  Hubs is ready to take on the insurance company. Will have to wait for him to cool down.  Before we go get the parts. He can do it It just will take longer as he doesn't get around as good as he use to.

Might want to ask the insurance company what they will get for it as scrap - when hubs hit the second deer with his Aveo the company allowed him to buy it back out of the settlement money provided he removed full coverage. Then we took the rest of the money and fixed it. Hit another deer and killed the car (and the deer) but did get a lot more miles out of the car.

Thanks for the idea TBM.  He is still boiling today. Found two local body shops I am going to take it to and see what they come up with. Then price the parts myself. We shall see what happens next.

Hi cookie! Nice to see you.

So what's going on in your life? Haven't heard anything about your pets for a long time. How are they doing?

I may have an announcement to make very soon, myself Smile
