TBM  are you guys okay with the nasty weather your way?

We are ok here. Had some major damage in the area - but missed our house by a couple of miles. We did get to watch a funnel develop nearby but it did not touch down. We had a bunch of trees down and lots of wind.  Thankfully almost no injuries. Thanks for asking!

Glad to hear you guys are all okay and no damage to your place.

Monkeys I am so upset at some of the parents around here. One of the young ladies that lives at down the road. Is being sent to live with her grandmother to take care of her. Which I can understand to a point. She gave up her room to her step dads mom. Then her mom tells her you are going to go live with Grandma to take care of her as the  daughter living with her just got tried and walked out. This young lady doesn't have a license to take the grandmother to the doctor or to get groceries for them. She has raised her 4 younger sibs as mom sits on her fat azz. She has been saving money to go to college next fall. Her mom told her we need money etc. So she gave her mom most of her graduation money. She is such a sweet gal. Why doesn't the mom go take care of her mother. But NO Ashley as to do it and give up her plans. She was so sad today she came down to spend the night with granddaughter and mom called her and told her get home we are taking you tonight not tomorrow as planned. Okay done with my rant.

I hope the time comes when Ashley will come of age and strike off on her own.  I believe children and teens should help around the house but it looks like Ashley is just short of being an indentured servant.  I hope she stays a sweet gal, but I also hope she realizes as she matures that she doesn't have to be under her Mom's thumb.  I hope she can find happiness in life, and I hope her Mom doesn't keep sucking at any money she earns in the future.  JMHO

Good morning everyone!

Trying to be chipper this morning, but it's not working so hot.  Just have the blues -- missing my momma so much and the friend I had in my sister Connie before her stroke.  I know I shouldn't complain, but my heart has been heavy these past few days.
Sometimes the journey is difficult for all of us.  Yet I know we are really strong people and blessed people.

Hugs to Sister and Belle this morning.

When my children's hearts are heavy, I remind them to Count their Blessings.

Sometimes it is hard, I know.

Oh hey GE!

We are doing fine- down at the coast this weekend.  Hubs went to work and I'm doing a little work and a lot of nothing!!

Wishing Chubbie was here with me- she likes it here but Hubs always has an excuse why we can't bring her.

Never a good one either.  Cad doesn't get to come often.  She is too unpredictable.  Ran in circles one time inside and then SMACK head on into the glass door!

Here's one for you Cadillac  This made me think of your fur babies.    It seems daughters & granddaughters pups had a little something extra today. When daughter took a break from work they got up on her desk and got about five keys off her keyboard.  I don't know if they ate them or just got them off and chewed them up.

Hi GE!

Too funny about the keyboard pups.  Sometimes they can be so mischievous.

A long time ago, hubs dropped his cell phone in the drive when he got out of the car.  He didn't miss it immediately.  Then he remembered he had it in the car, so started retracing his steps.

Found the sim(?) card in the yard, and a remnant of what used to be the phone.

That's Cadillac for you.

One of the kids said call it and see if she rings.
