Hi to all the monkeys.

GE -hope you and your famiy are well.  yes things are getting worked out.  my mom finally received a place for her husband in a long term care facility.  it's been a very stressful process for all.  her visits upset them both.
my daughter came in from out of town and stayed with her last weekend and took her to see him.  she removed my mom in about ten minutes.  the head nurse told my mom, 'dear, you must go and rest now, and do not worry or have guilt, you have done all you can and you need to rest now.
one day at a time.

sister - how are you and belle doing?  also connie and geo.

Can I understand how had it is to place a loved one in a long term care facility.  I am glad you finely got him in one. All you can do is give your mom support and tell her she has done everything she could. Prayers for you all. Enjoy your time with your mom. an angelic monkey

Brandi how cute the Graduation pics of Belle are.  an angelic monkey

Thanks, GE!

I had made several very similar ones a while back, but had not saved them before we lost power and I lost all the work!

I thought Belle looked so cute holding her diploma, I went ahead and redid them from scratch.

I am glad you think they are cute Wink

Monkeys I am so upset at some of the parents around here. One of the young ladies that lives at down the road. Is being sent to live with her grandmother to take care of her. Which I can understand to a point. She gave up her room to her step dads mom. Then her mom tells her you are going to go live with Grandma to take care of her as the  daughter living with her just got tried and walked out. This young lady doesn't have a license to take the grandmother to the doctor or to get groceries for them. She has raised her 4 younger sibs as mom sits on her fat azz. She has been saving money to go to college next fall. Her mom told her we need money etc. So she gave her mom most of her graduation money. She is such a sweet gal. Why doesn't the mom go take care of her mother. But NO Ashley as to do it and give up her plans. She was so sad today she came down to spend the night with granddaughter and mom called her and told her get home we are taking you tonight not tomorrow as planned. Okay done with my rant.

Just plain selfish and lazy.  ( the mother)

Oh, I agree!

Just plain unfair to Ashley. After the age of 18, she should be able to do as she wishes and needs to do for herself. It is her time to prepare for her future. IMO.

Your right Cadillac and Brandi. The parents are selfish. Not that she shouldn't help with her grandmother. But to just tell her to pack her clothes and stuff and you are going. Is just wrong. I am hoping and praying the move out of her home will end up a good thing for her.  And her grandmother will encourage her to follow her dream and at least start college part time while she is living with her.

TBM  are you guys okay with the nasty weather your way?

We are ok here. Had some major damage in the area - but missed our house by a couple of miles. We did get to watch a funnel develop nearby but it did not touch down. We had a bunch of trees down and lots of wind.  Thankfully almost no injuries. Thanks for asking!

Whew! Glad you are safe, and that it missed your house.

I saw a funnel cloud once. Just once. It was scary. It did touch down, but not where I was.
