So, I have to get rid of my cat. She is not working out anymore - she has started peeing outside the box (expecially carpet!)  I took her to the vet and she is medically fine. But the problem is that now that she has started, there is no way to stop her in our house. I have tried everything. Anyone have any suggestions or want a beautiful black cat?

I'm no cat expert, but there is a guy on television (maybe animal planet).  Some folks had this same problem, but I can't remember how it was fixed, but it was.  If I'm remembering correctly, they got a new litter box and put it in a new location.  Wish I could remember all the particulars.  Maybe goggle it -- we can goggle just about everything else.

I totally forgot about that show.  Jackson Galaxy is his name and the show is called My Cat From Hell:

Yes, Klaas -- this is the one -- he is very cool and a great lover of all cats!!  I'm not a cat person myself, but I just love to watch him -- he is amazing!

Man I wish I could afford to pay him to do a consult. He would get right to the issue. PErhaps I will try some destressing stuff.

Trimmy, you're back!!!! Yeah!

CC, if you don't produce JSM I will do a Govenor's Warrant and have her extradited up here!

I"ve been thinking and thinking about you all, fortunately, I thought about ya'll when I had a computer in front of me and the thought, all at the same time.

so, this is what I know: 4 Donks, you kicked some kind of cancer's azz! Way to go!!! Sorry I wasn't here to support you.

Klaas had Bell's Palsy and is doing better...very glad to hear it.

Sister, are you Connie's sister? If so, please take the following in the spirit with which it is offered: I've missed much of the story, but from what I've read, she seems to not care so much if she gets better, or to another level of competence. Her normal has changed. While your expectations of her remain normal, hers have changed. She may say she wants to drive...but maybe that is just to pacify you, so you won't make the hard decision to step back? We all have different ways that we act and react to those in our lives. She knows if she pushes button A, you will do what you always do when she pushes button A. It sounds like she's in a home of some sort, with lots of help from you and one child. Take a step back, let the other children help in a way that they feel comfortable with. (THIS IS VERY HARD TO DO!!!) You have a life that you deserve to enjoy. You cannot put your life, your happiness, at her disposal. If she wants to be spaced out on drugs, that's her choice. You cannot save her unless she wants to be saved. I do think a pain management specialist is in order. I know this may be incredibly hard for you, but she has to live her life...for her. And you have to live your life for you. [whew, and I thought YOU were the preacher! ]

Lessee...what else? oh yeah, just where the hell is JSM????????????????????????????????

I"ve missed you all terribly, and will be checking in more often. Work has literally sucked my soul out...I think I have PTSD from the cancer (all is well on that front) and one horrible mean foul boss and one new one who has no managment skills and a union PRINCESS (yep, she's still there. I call her Skeletor, but only to myself.)

So, catch me up. Did Bearly get a man? Is CC still drinking his days away?

And Trimm? I still play Tom Petty on the way to work, and I still think of you!

Yes, I have a new man.  But it's not what you are thinking.  Cubbie is now an adult.  How did that happen?

Missed you, too!

Brandi, that's awesome about your weight! did it involve (shudder ) exercise? You should be very proud of yourself.

Well, you would have to bring up the e word!

We bought a Schwinn Airdyne 2 Exercise bike back in February, and I used it, worked my way up to being rather good with it, then suddenly (I forget the reason) I stopped using it. Same with my husband.  Here's the bike: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12003707

It's been, oh, quite a few months since either one of us has used it, but I promise, I am going to start soon!

I have been more active though, since with the weight loss, my back (displaced disk) does not seize as much.

Oh, and we are starting to play tennis again. Only played (practiced once so far though.)

So, not really, exercise has not been much a part of the weight loss. Just eating real food (not processed food-like products) has been the key for me.

You stopped using your husband?

Oh my!

I'm back and sorry for not coming here for a long time.

Glad to see Tevye and Trimm back.

Sister I am so sorry to hear about Connie. My prayers are on the way.

Babs and GE... love you

My friend, I am so happy to see you!
(Oh and thanks for saving CC's bacon..a warrant from another jurisdiction can kinda screw with a DoD job!)

We got a new dog, another Aussie Shepherd. Ozzie passed on last year, but he had time to train the new Aussie, Kiwi, in some ways. In other ways, not so good. I keep telling Kiwi he's not Tigger, he does NOT have a spring in his butt!

I am still working with skeletor....the bane of my existance.

Oh, yeah, and I bought a cabin, a MY cabin. Our kids are helping me fix it up, I don't think the Mister will be going with me, his loss. We like each other fine...but I have some issues about me working and him not that are not setting well with me. Oh, the cabin has no water and no electricity. I'm working on ways around that....Privvies are allowed in my new county (which, thankfully, is still not the county I work in.)

And I got TWO new pairs of cowboy boots, fancy ones with flowers embroidered on them. One of them is my work at the cabin pair, the other is for dancing. Now if I could just find some cowboys....LOL!

and this is what my cottage looks like when I'm all settled in for the night. Yep, that's a Shield on the table. I have all the essentials...music on the iPod, books on the Kindle and my gun. There are bears in the area (I need to take my rifle out there...my handgun would just piss off Mr. or Mrs. Bear) coffee and binoculars for critter sitings.

Trimm, I am SO taking the magic tea pot with me when I move to the cabin! And maybe buy the Dr. Who series...I don't think I can afford cable. Hmmm...lesseee...insulation or cable? Yep, insulation wins! Just trimming the budget.
