Bearly, yes, that is a gun. Yes, I have a concealed carry permit. Yes, most days, I wear a gun to work. and yes, there are COYOTES AND BEARS out there!!!! It's a very remote-ish locale. But don't worry, when I have any of the grandkids with me, the gun is even more concealed...and disabled, to a point.

Now, I just have to grow 6 inches so I can reach to the top of the door so I can hang a shotgun up! Bears HATE shotguns... and so do druggies. My safety is my responsibility. I work with cops, I know how long the response time is (I live in the very tippy top of a large county....we don't get much po po out there.

I wasn't upset about the gun.  I just don't want you to shoot me by accident.  I'll call ahead.

(But Bearly, ah gots no phone, no lectricity, no water, and no dog!) Don't worry, when I'm there, unless I'm outside, the gun is set to safety. And you would be welcome!

Even though I'm a bear?

Hey, it's Friday night. I need some silly...badly. So, I'll start:

You cannot tap your toes while you are in the giant human sucking machine that does bone scans...full body ones. You have to decide that yep, you prolly do have some form of PTSD, but you can handle it, cos you can't get up and run and wreck that million dollar machine. Solution: next time, I'll put a book on my iPod to listen to, instead of Pistol Annies, Black Eyed Peas and Emerson Lake & Palmer. Oh, yeah, and next time? Take that little blue pill.

I've have a really poopy week. I feel like toilet papering someone's house. Where's the most recent pic of casa de Anthony? And Mushroom head, what's that ol witch up to?

I like your cure for a poopy week--toilet paper.  Go have a colonoscopy, you can skip the prep!

Good grief!  I have an MRI coming up.  I read that first part to fast.  I thought you said you could not suck your toes when you were in the machine...  I wonder if I can ask someone else to suck my toes when I am in the MRI?  Must be the little blue pills.

Oh Tevye sorry you had a bad week.  I decided since MIL was coming for a visit I would re-decorate the quest bathroom. Since I love butterflies I went with that. Just put up the new shower curtain and rug. Lets just say it's a little bit to much for a small bathroom.  Oh well it looks new & fresh even if it's a bit over whelming.

Does it look like the movie, "The Birds" only they're butterflies?

Figured you are talking about where Casey is staying. She is still in hiding, of course. Feel free to toilet paper her hideout:

Sorry you had a bad week; maybe papering her hideout will lift your spirits.

Brandi, it looks like you are having plumbing problems, yikes.  Did a pipe  burst?

j/k I love all the water in your avi!

Morning Monkeys

Grandson has been a big help this week end. From hanging up curtains to replacing blinds and replacing burnt out light bulbs for me. He did all the climbing on the ladder. Packing in all the heavy stuff from the grocery store.  Without a single complaint. But let his mom ask him to take out the trash and he goes deaf and gets into to trouble.

You planning on running into a Monkey that can eat soup with a spoon only if you say the right thing?

I thought she was saying something like eat up or eat your soup, etc.  Words that would encourage him to take another spoonful, but that is just a guess.

Now that is a spoon just right for CC!

My son has the same hearing problem.  It's called familiarity breeds loss of hearing and seeing.  That's why they have to play the music so loud!

Just let there be something on the floor at home, they will step over it, crawl over it, jump over it, pole vault over it, but whatever they do, don't pick it up.  Mom is their kryptonite.  They become weak in her presence.

How were your kids when they were at home?

Our grandson is staying with us until the end of the month(I think) so now I'm doing the mom thing. He's my best bud, but he's a boy. He's good about doing stuff when I ask, but picking up after himself....not so much. I am amazed at what he consumes in his bedroom! We're really trying to eliminate the junk food in the house ("Hi. My name is Tevye and I'm a junkie"!). It's killin' me!!

but all in all, I'm so glad he's here! And here, we live in a neighborhood, so he has lots of kids to run around with. At his home, out in the county (by my new cottage) there is no one. We are blessed.

That sounds like my grand kids for sure.  As for my kids when they were young. They had their moments. When I ask them to do something they were pretty good about it. But I didn't ask them to do much besides keep their rooms cleaned. Sons kept their room picked up no problem. Daughter not so much.  We went many rounds about that. By the time she was in 7th grade the rule was keep your door closed unless your room is clean. Lets just say they door stayed closed a lot more than it was open.

That's just the opposite here Tevye.  No kids for him to play with.  It's amazing what they can put away isn't it.

It's a small waterfall in Norway.

I just love watching it, so I decided to use it as an avatar so I can see it more often.

Glad you like it!
