I HATE the cold weather - I would rather have it 100 degrees and 100 percent humitity.  Unfortunatly, I was born here so I have lots of warm clothing!  Still hate it thought.

Along those lines, my husband had an employee in this weather that does not OWN a coat.  She is 20 and not too sharp apparently! (I love her, she is sweet). But she was running from her car to the building with just a sweater on. My sweet hubs gave her his extra coat to use. Who the heck lives in Michigan and does not own a winter coat???
TBM, I agree with you.  I rarely use the word hate, but I hate cold weather.  And I know I don't have it anywhere near as bad as the northern monkeys.  Saw on television last night that this polar vortex is causing incredible tides and waves in Europe.  Wow.  I am blessed.

i hate cold weather. if my kids and grand kids would move to a warmer climate, hubs and I would be gone!

in June, I get to go to Amsterdam, London and Paris on a girls trip. we are so excited. 4 of us are going.
Hubs is from Amsterdam. I am going to go to places that he used to live at as a child and where his grand parents owned a couple of businesses to take some pictures for him.

Sounds wonderful. I would love to go - any extra room in the suitcase?

Oh how exciting, Cookie!!!

Never been to Europe.

In fact, only been out of the states twice. Both times to Canada.

You must share pictures and highlights with us Monkeys!

I thought these were cool. Amazing look a likes that are strangers.

Think you're special and unique?

So did these folks, until they met Francois Brunelle.

The 62-year-old Montreal-based photographer has spent the last 12 years scouring the world for complete strangers who look alarmingly similar, according to Rex USA.

"I was inspired by 2 things," Brunelle told Rex USA. "First I used to see look-alikes all over since a very long time. Second, my own likeness with TV character Mr Bean."

From one extreme to another.

Frigid cold for days on end.

Now, highs close to 70º and tornado watches!

Everyone stay safe.

Very strange weather. We are up there too Brandi. The sun is out and it's a beautiful day.  Yikes just read that they think by next Wed., - Friday there will be another Polar Cold hit. Not close to what the last one was but below normal cold for most of the the same area hit by the last one. Thank Goodness we are only on the edge of the cold front next week.  Hope every ones having a great week end.

Brandi be safe. Yikes I was reading about the toxic spill in West Virgina. The poor people not being able to use any water. All they can use it for is to flash their toilets.

How exciting -- I love to travel!

Just had a real freaky storm -- this weather is really odd.  High today was 66.
Blessings to everyone.

P.S.  I like our new name -- "New Name, Same Old Place" -- that's what I think today

The sun finally came out today and things are drying out. No more rain until Monday so 2 day break.
Just got back from sisters' and they had a b'day dinner for me. Still cannot stand sweet things so didn't eat the cake just blew out the candles.  Got calls from cousins in Canada and friends in Florida, Ireland and Italy. Almost makes me want to travel again but with the donks and dogs no chance. Also minor detail with monthly scopes. I'll just have to ask Cookie to have extra fun for me.
Walt will be stopping by on his way from Italy to California to check up on me in person. He drives me nuts with worrying about stuff...doesn't just live for today.

Well everyone have a great weekend and those up north stay warm.

Okay Monkeys  I don't know what season we are suppose to be in.   Last week I was COLD had the heating blasting away. Today it's in the high 70's and have summer clothes on. The wind is blowing so can't open the windows to much junk blowing around.

Hope all the monkeys are staying safe warm and everyones in good health. Continues Prayers for all in need.  an angelic monkey

Happy Late Birthday 4Donks.    Sounds like you had a good time even if you didn't have any cake.  It's nice Walt worries about you. There have to be worries in the world to balance out the non worries. Have you gotten you cameras up yet?   an angelic monkey

Hey ya'll!

haven't been around much, getting used to being "prematurely retired without my permission"...but...

PAGING JSM!!! Olympics!!! Ice Skating!!! Jason Brown! Ponytail!

And of course, the usual "scandal" has broken out in the Women's Dept. US has 3 slots to fill for the Olympics, the committee picked the top 2 of the Nationals, skipped the 3rd place finisher, and chose the 4th place woman...the one whose body of work helped the US get those 3 slots.

What say you all? And CC...you don't need to tell us what you think of their costumes, WE KNOW!!

Oh, and I will read back and see how everyone is doing. Last I knew, 4donks was on the mend (you go, girl!), Trimmy's status is still unclear to me (the fo**ers, gotta catch up!) and Sister's man was too high maint. (I swear, chemo brain only gets worse the farther I get from it. My spelling is atrocious!)

Good morning everyone!

Things are about the same here.  Connie is still in the nursing home and tomorrow has an appointment with the ortho surgeon.  I will be meeting her there.  Will know how to proceed after that.  Thinking positive thoughts!

Hope all monkeys are safe and warm!
