Good morning everyone!

Well, the surgeon told Connie it will be 3 more months before she will be discharged from him.  Not sure what that means for the rest of us -- but I am trying not to fret over it.
Hadn't mentioned before that since January I was taking oral chemo for the recurring ovarian cancer.  Feeling much better now, finally starting to get some energy again.
Belle is doing fine -- just not great with socialization which is my fault.  She doesn't play well with others because there are no others in her life.  The nearest dog park is miles away and right now I don't have the energy to deal with it.
George is doing good -- he will probably out live me.
I keep up with everyone even though I don't post so much.  You remain in my daily prayers.
Blessings.
And yeah! today is the beginning of baseball!!!!!

Hang in there with the chemo. You know you are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Sister
Prayers that Connie agrees to stay there and not insist on going home.
Brandi
We are due for some warmth and sun. Looks good next week.

Had to have the vet come out for Big Mac this past week. Jason pointed out his age and said he is just wearing down but is not in distress just tired. He had such a horrible life before and it took its toll on him. He just likes to stay in bed and relax.

The pollen count has been just so high recently that you can't go outside without coughing or sneezing. That should calm down in the next couple of weeks and then I can get outside for some spring clean up.

4Donks  Glad to hear Big Max isn't in any discomfort.  Can't say I blame him for staying in bed and relaxing. I have days I would love to be able to do that. It is going to be a bad year for pollen I think. We have days like that here too 4Donks. Hopefully it gets better soon so you can go out and get some of the spring clean up started.

can't tell you how much your prayers mean to me.  You folks are just awesome!
Don't know if I ever told you how I can tell when someone is praying for me?  (I don't know who, just that someone is praying.)  I feel a warmth in the center of my back -- that place we can't reach alone.  It always bring me comfort.

Hi 4Donks    It was a wild day yesterday. Babs & I didn't get much of anything.  Babs lives about two miles from town and they got a good amount of rain. Granddaughter & her boyfriend are volunteers at a fire station about 3 miles from us and they got hit with rain & hail. But not the giant ones you saw on TV. CC and JSM had some wild rain & wind but are ok.  Most of the really nasty stuff was north and east of us. Where I take hubs for his eye appointments. So glad we weren't there.

Hope you and all the fur babies are doing okay.

And to all the other Texas Monkeys hope you all made it thru yesterdays nasty weather.

Sister, while I am sorry you had to go through treatments I am glad that is behind you and you are feeling in better health.
Enjoy your baseball, Belle and whatever small and large pleasures you can.
I really appreciate your disclosure as to the heartache and new insights you and other family members have gained with regard to Connie.
I will continue to hope for the best outcome for your sis, for you and all the family.
Glad to hear that George is doing so well.
Love,
Can.

Hey GE (and all other monkeys!)  Boys and I are doing great - one with an arm in a cast but he is surviving - roller skating is very dangerous stuff!  Getting ready to leave tomarrow morning to take my mom, two 7 year old nieces and 7 year old son down to chicago to visit the oldest. The 15 year old thought he was way too cool to go with all those kids so he is staying home. Should be interesting!

Been checking in daily, just not posting. Too tired. LOL

The plumber came Sat. morning and fixed the pipe that had frozen and burst in the LR ceiling. (So much for the winterizing they had done.) And he checked out everything else, and we are fine! No other plumbing problems. WooHoo! We lucked out.

Hubby and I and Brandi spent the whole day Sat. and Sunday at the house, moving some stuff over and he did a LOT of yardwork. I trimmed back the shrubs in front of the house, and got sore. LOL

Sunday, I took a little sunbath in the front yard (no one can see me, the house is set back quite far) and fell asleep! I never fall asleep sitting up. Got a little too much sun on my face! Anyway, hubby thought it was so cute, he came around and found me asleep in the chair and Brandi asleep on the front porch.

We are moving in bit by bit, changing locks, installing the washer and dryer (needed different hose clamps so all was done except for the dryer.) Just so much to do before we actually move in, but we are getting there.

Just got a call while typing this from the appraiser's office to meet the appraiser at the house tomorrow at 1 so he can follow up on the plumbing repair for the lender. It's all kept me very busy. I cleaned out a bunch of drawers today and packed a few boxes, went to the store for some new trash cans/waste baskets, etc.

Also had to deal with Ray's schedule (hospital appointments and rides to them) so I am really staying busy.

Thanks for thinking of me.
