Steve's boss said he had told him that he knew one of the suspects from the internet cafe. They said the police came and went quickly and don't know if they searched his house or car.

This get tough.  These kids were legal adults.  Others their age right out of high school are moving into apartements, heading to bootcamp, going to college.
 
Please remember this to keep this "chaperone thing" in perspective...18 and 19 year olds are serving our country in wars in foreign lands..no chaperones. Personally I think of much younger kids being "chaperoned" as I did my share of as my kids were growing up.

Dash briefly posted under a different name.  mbhs05 checked in around noon and then thought it best to get off for awhile.  In fact someone here suggested it was time for another movie and she agreed that might be the healthiest thing for her to do.

If I'm not mistaken mbhs05 is not dash, but an acquaintence (friend) of dash from the same school/grade

yesterday they both were posting - or was that the day before

anyway, my prayers to all family and friends involved - these are trying times for all.

extended prayers to anyone in a missing person situation - the unknown is the worst thing to be known.

I haven't heard any news on the new arrest. O'Reilly said he would have an update on Natalee Holloway later in the segment.

Right now they are talking about Jessica Lunsford, another friggin case that makes me sick.

Why were these guys hanging out in the internet cafe if they all had computers at home? Remember it said Steve knew one of the brothers from the internet cafe, but the brothers said the night Natalee disappeared they went home and GOT ON THE COMPUTER.

Either they both always wanted to be on the computer at the same time and one of them had to find another one or these guys all hung there because they knew TOURISTS use internet cafes to check messages.

Or they used the internet cafe to try and conceal something which might lead to them on their own computers.

Did this Steve person work on any other tourist boats?  Are there any that could have been out that late on Sunday night?

If they all knew each other from the Internet cafe, did they communicate via computer?

He didn't have to....he operated really close to it though...

Think about this - what if the two brothers are telling the truth, and did in fact drop of Natalee and Joran off near the Marriott....
something goes wrong, Joran jogs to see his buddy Steve (perhaps his drug dealer, perhaps from the internet cafe - note everyone involved seemed to have personal ads at the same places...) and Steve gives him a "helping hand"...

good question, anyone know?

q4. Are there any that could have been out that late on Sunday night?

doesn't really matter, he could always take it for a ride in the morning - who would know the difference or perhaps care at that point in time?  No red flags up for him....

I feel the same way about our Arubian friends..where would we be as far as "breaking" info. without them. They are very generous to share with the world all of this..as they hear it first hand. I...personally  appreciate their commitment.

I'm nervous because someone posted that FBI was headed to a certain village today.

Maybe we better not accidentally foil the FBI's surprise attack.

So maybe, if you are in Aruba and you hear "the FBI is going to the corner of 10th and Main", could you maybe not post that exact location of "the corner of 10th and Main"?

You are correct.  mbhs05 was on today around noon and left to take a break.  Dash came on about 5:30 or so, posted once under another name, and that was all we saw of her.
