puggywug, there are definitely two new suspects.

The one yesterday was never said to have been "arrested' but was described as being "detained".  This might be the same thing, in Aruba.

Thanks to AmericaninAruba, we know that the one yesterday is a nutcase who could be capable of having grabbed Natalee (maybe for ransom, maybe to kidnap, maybe to sell).

The one today is another of those guys that think they are above the law.

Nobody is above the law.

Thanks, Dallas Also

ha ha now I wasn't bad, I only went to one of the after hours parties, at Christmas time,  but I heard about all the various after hour parties as
my siblings and their friends, some of whom are my friends did partake of the after hour parties many times, i'm the quiet one of the family LOL,

I also don't enjoy drinking in a bar where it is so packed, including underagers, against fire marshall regulations, that you can barely lift your elbow to get the beer to your lips

on the other hand, Toronto is known for their after hours parties, esp in the Jamaican community and sadly these parties have been the scene for numerous shootings and murders........at one point it seemed to be every weekend in the summer, I think the cops were trying to shut them down

They are asking or wondering if the parents of Natalee has been interogated.

Edmond Croes, owner of Top 95, is telling now that the e-mail action against the Radio Voice of Alabama was a big succes, and the first email that was sent was answered in a rude manner by define..but she did not know that there was about 800 emails to ciome into her inbox

now 95.1 is talking about aruba ban and dee and and their response.  FM 95.1 is running an email campaign against D.  they are saying that there is a local politcal angle, smearing the government.  they are discussing the impact of the disappearance on the tourism business.  now they are discusing nancy grace show last night and the segment on the runaway bride.

If this guy worked at the marriot like has been reported then it doesn't seem very good for the chances of her being alive.

Fox is confirming (as much as Fox can confirm) that the new arrest is the son of a prominent businessman and a friend of Joran's.

Also, again they are reporting there is a new search today at an undisclosed location and it's related to the new arrest.

One thing that has stuck in my mind was that Depak Kalpoe told John (one of the security guards) in jail that he thought that she would "show up a couple of days later in a crackhouse or somewhere else."

This certainly implies that she had no reason to think that she was dead.

Joran is 17 and the newly arrested guy is 26.  What is a 26 year old doing hanging out with a 17 year old.

I am afraid all are in papiamento, but I stay with Top 95, because they are the hottest and the closest on this case since the beginning.

I think that if it was a high ranking person Top 95 would have broadcasted for sure.

There are many Croes living on Aruba, so please do not jump to conclusions. On Aruba the thought that she might be still alive is reviving again.

And who knows, on her own free will

listen too it for two weeks like I have and it starts to make sense even to this dumb Yankee

here is my understanding of how Aruba works

they can in fact arrest someone technically when all they are doing is questioning them

it is odd that the Dutch system is in fact more skewed towards favouring the police and yet the Europeans are always bashing Bush for violating rights...

this does not happen in North America, you can question someone but unless you charge them, you can't hold or detain them, they are free to go if they wish to go, or they are free to co-operate and you can't charge them unless you meet the proof standard of probable cause, otherwise you will have a lawsuit on your hands, those security guards in Aruba, if they were in the US, the legal vultures would be on their doorstep, Al Sharpton would be their best friend.......

frankly in the security guards case i don't think the Aruban prosecutor even met their own standard which is reasonable suspicion

That's probably about that Jennifer Bilkins fool who sold her 'runaway bride' story to a movie producer yesterday. Wasn't that movie already made? Rolling Eyes

DT, i hear what you're saying but at the same time i feel that the likeliness of her being found alive increases with every new arrest / person found involved in some way.........

This is news to me.  The only thing I heard Depak said to John was that they dropped Nat and VDS off near the Marriott.  Can you send a link regarding that statement?

He could be, but they did not say that.

Personally, I think they are cutting deals with these three now...
