why is Joran hanging around with a 26 year old - well I believe the older Kalpoe brother is 25 is it not?

and it's a small island, more likely to happen, they are all drinking and partying at the same places......

in our world, most 26 years old wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with 18 years olds unless it's 26 year old male and 18 year old female,

Does it seem unusual to ya'll that a 26 year old would be friends with a 17 year old?  Joran's parents were extremely permissive with him.

It is the difference between probable cause and reasonable suspicion.  I think in the Dutch system a judge runs the investigation whereas it is reun by police and prosecutors in our system.  I think the judicial supervision is much closer in their system.  

Somebody being interviewed on radio confirms they have 2 people more under arrest.

they are talking to a lawyer who has come out of the court.  can't understand a word.

Have "we" the public caused problems....?

What if the situation turns out to be like this:

The brothers do indeed drop of Joran and Natalee near the Marriott...

They are pretty wasted...Joran calls 26 year old buddy...buddy either picks up or arranges pick up for the two for a continuance of the late night party....

They both pass out....

Joran makes it to school the next day, Natalee sleeps it off....

Meanwhile, massive media and search begins while all parties involved are sleeping it off.....

Then....extreme embarrassment occurs with these kids and Natalee is too embarrassed to "call in" due to the public pressure to find her - could she feel it better to "be lost, or be assumed dead" than to have her family "embarrassed" by the situation.....


OR.....

the situation could be totally different...and could have went like this...

the brothers drop of Joran and Natalee near Marriott...

at some point in time Joran calls this 26 year old friend for a pick up....

Joran and Natalee get picked up - Natalee is completely incapacited, possibly slipped a "mickey"

Natalee overdoses, dies.

Massive panic attack by Joran and this 26 year old friend...

the rest of the story has been in media of massive search - but obviously nobody says anything due to the circumstances...


One thing I do think:  Papa Van Der Sloot did talk to Joran that it is "high time" to end the torture of Natalee's family.

Personally, I hope that this turns out to be a case of extreme embarrassment on Natalee's part due to her age, etc....

What do you all think?  Either scenario plausible?

fyi:  4th suspect characterized by FM 95.1 announcer (owner?) as beach bum or beach boy at the Marriott ...  

If the MSM would talk to the arubans they would know what is going on.

Been a lurker/reader--saw this, figured my time to help--especially since I am caught up reading all posts-WHEW!!!

Foxnews.com in the video part for "4Th person arrested" does show a pic--not complete, but a pic of the 26 yr old man--very slender looking, dark hair..........

Also, I also read the 3 boys are still in court--nothing released to the judges decision.

I am TRYING to listen to Top 95--but have NO CLUE what they are saying--lil words here and there I pick up on--more english sounding---I wish I could understand!

they better not let them go, i cant imagine that they would release these guys at this point in the investigation, esp since there has been a new arrest..anyone watchin tv...or listenin to the radio....please post it for me
