It I were involved in someone's disappearance and a blog was both heavily interested in it and was having an impact on the case, I would sure be watching that blog. I might even participate in hopes of influencing public perceptions in a way that might mislead people.

So, I wonder if Croes, Lorenzo, and/or others have been on here and have been participating in the discussion. Perhaps there's some way that Tom or Red can investigate this idea.

I think that may have been what Tom was afraid of a little while ago when he mislead himself into thinking that Croes was "our" AiA...

I am not sure if I heard it right, but I heard something that after the detention this morning there is a third extra person detained.

Joran van der Sloot was escorted outside the court with a policecar and returned in 30 minutes. The strange thing was he left the court not handcuffed, but when he returned to court he was handcuffed.

i was wondering that also, since two weeks ago when someone in the original forum, before we had this one... stated that there are going to be major ramifications when this comes out... i keep thinking back to that,  they might have monitored to see if anyone had yet thrown their names around....just try to help....

Had report but it was erased by overlaod  try again.  Confirm SGC is boat guy.  Role unkown  Two more detained for questioning.  Joran taken from court for half hour in afternoon possibly in connection with interrogation of new arrestees.  Decsion on keeping the 3 locked up will come soon.  Initial extension 8 days followed by 10 and 30.

Interesting theory. However, that is why we do not just take the first persons word for the truth. We also know who has a track record for getting it right. The Aruban sources on this site and who email us have been dead on.

Having been reading this website since the night Natalee vanished, I can't be anything less than astounded at the rate of speed news has traveled on here.  This is my first stop for news.  It is amazing to have watched the way we get info change from having no input to an interactive one like this.  It is truly history in the making.  Thank you Tom and Red. Yes, yes.  Adella on WS reported that her brother saw Joran outside the Oranjestad police station, smiling.  He had been detained at the Noord station previously.  I thought this may be about his father's court appearance or jail visit.

I think that site is for the other Steve Croes.......the stocky one.  The site lists his occupation as 1st officer and doesn't that have something to do with aviation?  If so, I think we determined that the other guy had EMT and aviation backgrounds.

In the link to proudcollege that was posted... there is a picture of a security uniform VGB found on the beach when they did the search.

Anyone know who VGB is contracted for? Just interesting to know because I am wondering if it may have been put there to finger the guards.. or maybe through all the lies, even if the boys are guilty and changing stories.. maybe the only truthful cover-up they had was.. there was a security guard... someone dressed pretending to be one?

Anyone thought of this? Maybe that is how they took Natalee, perhaps put her in another trusting situation?

on fox news they say he was a disc jockey on the boat, thats not true he was the captain like americaninaruba said :0)
