This is really just a confirmation of what we've known all along....

The boys were let go for a week, even though they were the last to see Natalee.  All of us have known from the beginning that, because no evidence has turned up, the boys were under surveillance from day one, and NH has not turned up, that there had to be more people involved.

I just think the police wasted a week by not taking the boys in right away, we'd be a week ahead in the investigation.

Not speculating as to what happened, but everyone here has known there had to be other people involved.

There are definitely two new suspects.

The one yesterday was never said to have been "arrested' but was described as being "detained".  This might be the same thing, in Aruba.

Thanks to AmericaninAruba, we know that the one yesterday is a nutcase who could be capable of having grabbed Natalee (maybe for ransom, maybe to kidnap, maybe to sell).

The one today is another of those guys that think they are above the law.

Nobody is above the law.

Wonder if the one y'day "a friend" of jorans and also, if the one from y'day and the one from today are "friends"  wow, lots of thoughts here....

Well, I have one way they could have eluded all those searches and still kept Natalee alive.

When my kids were teens, we had three teens come up missing for over ten days (boy and two girls). The boy went as far as to shave his long hair off and eyebrows. We even helped search through woods and fields around the homes and came up with nothing.

In the end, everything turned out ok. They eluded searches by moving from various friends' homes to woods, fields etc. In other words, they kept moving.  We were told we walked right past the boy and never saw him (woods).

Of course this was not an abduction case, but a divorce case. The boy was trying to run away to another state to see his mother. It was amazing how so many young people could stick together with their stories and cover up their tracks......at least a couple dozen involved.  

I dont know why these kids would keep Natalee tucked away? She doesn't know them, so my bets are on kidnapping. But I wanted to show how clever teens can be.

I heard something curious this AM on FOX. It was an interview with NH's stepmom, Robin. When asked about the "donation" thing that has been set up, she mentioned expenses, charity and Natalee's legal fees. Did anyone else hear this?

I think that Joran's knees are buckling and he's talking.  I really thought he was guilty before....but now I'm starting to wonder if he was indeed framed.

Kelly, I'll try:  Last night someone was taken into custody, I think for questioning but not arrested (?)  His name is Lorenzo and his father committed suicide 3 yrs ago.  This morning at someone w/initials like SGC (??) was arrested.  He is 26 y/o friend of Joran and his father is a business man.

Anyone please correct me if I'm mixed up with this.

Mainly, tho, there is renewed hope that Nat may be alive.

Good morning everyone!!!  I actually decided to sleep last night and look what happens!!!  We have 2 new suspects, is that my understanding?

Fox is still talking 4th arrest.  It is not either the 5th ot the 7th if you count the security guards?  We have still in custody:  Joran, Deepak, Satish, Lorezo, SGC?  Is that correct?

Just an FYI regarding the thread locking.

From what I've read there is NO official confirmation that a "Lorenzo" is involved, detained or arrested.

It could well be our crack reporters found this and it's true.  BUT, until there are other sources to confirm I really wouldn't use this as part of a theory.

Sorry if this is well-traveled ground, but I haven't been following as closely for the past couple days:

Does anyone else think that the quickening pace of the investigation means that the Arubans are letting the FBI work more directly or take more of an active role?

I know there have been people here who have said that the FBI was involved from day 1, but it seems like the direction and pace have changed quite a bit.

For myself, I'm quite sure that the FBI wouldn't interfere in a LE investigation in another country (or at least a friendly country) unless their help was specifically requested.

OK, here is a thought, perhaps the 2 brothers are talking now......They know Joran has a father in a high position, now one of these new suspects seems to have as well, perhaps they see that Joran and the SON of a "businessman" have a better chance of getting away with whatever, and will point all the fingers to them, so perhaps now they are "spilling the beans" per say.......(As it would only make sense Jorans father is after Jorans best interest and not theirs, same as with the son of the "businessman"
