Why does the purpose of immigration reform/amnesty seem to revolve around cheating American citizens?

"Senate immigration bill full of bad, so-far-ignored provisions"

Quote
One portion of the Senate bill would loosen the rules for seeking asylum. Sec. 3401 removes the one-year deadline for applying for asylum; Sec. 3504 adds another layer of appeals for aliens turned down; and Sec. 3502 allows the U.S. attorney general to provide government-funded legal counsel to aliens, something current law bars.

Americans have nothing to gain from loosening these rules. Ask the people of Boston. The Chechen parents of the Boston Marathon bombers were asylum seekers. Before them, in 1993, a Pakistani asylum seeker, Ramzi Yousef, bombed the World Trade Center. Another Pakistani asylum seeker, Mir Aimal Kasi, gunned down two CIA agents in Virginia. If anything, the U.S. should stop granting asylum to people from countries that spawn terrorists.

This outsourcing is reminiscent of how the Obama health law entrusts the important job of helping people enroll in health insurance to community organizations. Together, these outsourcing provisions make community activists the “go-to” people for accessing government help, like a fifth estate with power and government funding but few rules.

Why not let these community organizations develop naturally?  Fund themselves?  Raise money for their 'popular' causes?

Why does government feel the need to continue taxing/stealing/picking the pockets of future generations to fund these faux community groups?  If they really have a mission the community supports, I think the community will WILLINGLY open their pockets and provide funding.  If they do not offer a valuable service to the community, likely the community will not be so generous.

Many of the bill’s provisions are labeled “emergency legislation,” to weasel out of Congress’s statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, which says that if Congress creates mandatory spending in one area, it has to reduce spending somewhere else or raise taxes. Labeling immigration reform an “emergency” is cooking the books.

I think the emergency is the unsecured border allowing economic terrorists, religious terrorists, drug gangs, drugs, and any number of unsavory characters to enter.  The emergency is politicians using 'families' and guilt to legalize all kinds of criminals, let them out of jail, ignore existing citizens.

Does the nation really need more generational poverty?  Debt?  Economic depression?

Or, does the nation need a renewal of freedom?  Smaller government?  Debt freedom?

The ability for everyday people to rise above their humble origins?  It is very telling that Bernanke lectures elite college graduates that their wealth, family connections, and such gave them an obligation to give back...

Why aren't the elites lecturing immigrants that follow the rules, the good ones, that they can do anything?  Their children can be the next Bill Gates or start the next Google?

Why is success being stifled in this country?  Why is prosperity seemingly only for non-Americans?  America get's the global rubbish?  The criminals?  The terrorists?

Energy poverty, ghetto living for everyone, joblessness...no chance to rise and make a good life for oneself.

It doesn't do any good to hate anyone,
they'll end up in your family anyway...
