I've always thought it was during this exact type of maneuver that the back of George's head was scratched.  I don't believe for one minute that Trayvon beat his head on the sidewalk.  IMO, Trayvon hit George a couple of times and the pansy (who decided he wasn't going to let another a**hole get away) intentionally and with malice shot him over it.

Because of his education and father's background Zimmerman knew exactly what to say and which lies to use to get out of a murder charge.

Oh, and it was God's plan that it all happened.

Six women on the Jury?  It should be interesting.

I would rather have six men, than six women.

If women don't like someone, it is Toast.

 

I'm trying to have faith that they will be impartial.  The prosecutor has had a lot to say though it hasn't been pretty and most folks don't see it yet.  Making the case for second degree murder is not off the radar IMO. 

O'Mara is a very good attorney.  Zimmerman chose well in that regard.  I highly respect O'Mara's tenacity and focus.

IMO, it is the maternal instinct (in the juried women), will over ride all the evidence.

I tend to think of these guys as a father, son, or brother, it is must the female gene's. 

The lawyers are so focused on the phone calls, I still say that it boils down to the females,
who will trust their instincts.

WOW  - we're in the Defense stage of the trial, and I hope the jury hasn't made up their mind like some folks in here have. I know this trial has really sparked debate and emotions across America,but GZ does deserve an impartial trial as is granted to him by our constitution.

I do hope the jurors use only the info presented to them during the trial.  As far as I am concerned the rest of the info is just inflammable internet/media gossip used to incite people to an early decision. I'm surprised at the anger I'm seeing here, b/c I thought most SM are people seeking the truth/honest information.

Hopefully this trial will be over within the week, and no rioting will occur if GZ is acquitted.

the pathetic part of the prosecution team for this farce of a trial is that they raised all the reasonable doubt that a juror following the court orders and jury instructions would need to aquit during their case in chief.  the defense is just going to drive it all home now.  no one can predict what a jury will do as we saw in the CA case, but IMO, there is enough reasonable doubt and the state failed to prove that GZ wasn't acting in self-defense.  worst prosecution team i've seen in awhile but maybe thats because this case should have never been brought.

Jamcakes, I was open to the state changing my mind. Almost everyone of their witnesses show me that my prior impression was right.
After the not guilty verdict I am sure there will be many more articles and videos of cowardly mobs attacking innocent people. I think I will pick up another couple of boxes of shells later today. I can always use them on crows if nothing else.

He's probably going to get off scott-free, because - to paraphrase Lonesome George - the punk always gets away with it. He assaulted a police officer and got away with it. He assaulted his fiance and got away with it. He (according to her) molested his cousin and got away with it. He lied to the court about bail money and got away with it. So there's nothing to make me think that he won't get away with killing an unarmed kid. Too bad the jury can't watch the antics of his drunken friend Frank on the "news" shows every night. That'd sway them for sure...

he should be aquitted.  he was defending himself.  and FYI, if you were listening to NG last night, his "drunken friend" Frank lost two children in 5 years so maybe you shouldn't be so judgemental.  this case is sad all around for both sides but the law is the law and if the jurors follow the law GZ should be aquitted.  If you are going to bring character into this, I think the jury seeing videos of Trayvon fighting would sway them more than the antics of Frank, but most people (including myself) don't want that brought in because no one wants to inflict further pain on the Martin family or sling mud as you are doing in your post.  this is just a sad case and I will respectfully disagree with your post.

i went into this open minded but half way through the prosecution case my opinion was solidified.  anything but an aquittal is a miscarriage of justice.

Second degree murder was a kneejerk overcharge. But I have watched everyone lie....and so have you. tit for tat perjury... these witnesses are bad liars and diminish what this process should be about... finding the truth. I have not seen evidence.. I have heard lies for 11 days. Body language and voice inflection are giving these people away. The prosecution could not shoot a fish in a barrel. I stand by what I said .. GZ is a liar and murderer who mistook the guy walking home for someone nefarious and set this whole mess into motion. He got fat because he is eating his secrets.....

What does his weight have to do with anything?  maybe hes on anti depressents.  if we wanna go tit for tat for perjury then charge Trayvon's parents with perjury as well, and disbarr Ben Crump if his deposition shows that him and the rest of the Martin team made up lies and spun this all to the media to force charges.  You have not seen evidence because this case should have never been brought.  The only evidence I have seen is in favor of George acting in self-defense.
