George's story that Trayvon 'somehow' got Zimmerman many yards away from the T intersection is absurd.  I stated that the first time I watched George's reenactment.  At that time I also stated I believe George showed Trayvon he was armed and as a result Trayvon was forced to defend himself.

George's story that he didn't fight back is also ridiculous.  Even the smallest of girls would fight back.  I agree with the prosecutor that there was a struggle that went on prior to witnesses seeing them on the ground.

Trayvon did not just attack George for no reason. 

BBM - and GZ did not attack him for no reason. IF he had planned to just beat TM up or kill him, why call the police?

I would go further and state the cards have been stacked against this kid from the moment Zimmerman laid eyes on him.  George's knowledge of the law and hunger to be some kind of hero, the piss poor investigation, the media attention, the race issue, the prosecutor, and more has all worked to prevent justice from being served.

I note that George exhibits shame and guilt in his expressions as the prosecutor presents his closing arguments.  IMO George knows what he's done, he knows the death of Trayvon is his fault, and he will have to live with that and answer for it upon his own death.

I am not sure if you can go by how some one looks. Unless one is a sociopath like Casey Anthony or Joran Van der Sloot, being front and center in the defendants chair of a murder case, whether you are innocent or guilty, it is an unnerving and pressuring situation that is beyond imagine. JMHO

I respectfully disagree - GZ is exhibiting shame because taking a life, justified or not, is not a pleasant or desirable thing to most people. It would bother me more if GZ was gloating.

He didn't plan it.  He planned to easily detain the 'suspect' until police arrived.  He's an idiot.  IMO.

The Prosecutor’s closing statements appear to be supporting a charge of Manslaughter … not 2nd Degree Murder.

Is the NEW charge of Manslaughter requested by the Prosecution and upheld by the Judiciary all about assuring GZ does not walk? Could it be that this has been the strategy of the Prosecution and Judiciary from the getgo? Think about it. The Defence has put all their resources throughout the trial into defending a 2nd Degree Murder charge rather than a Manslaughter charge … a charge not supported by the Prosecution’s case. What is wrong with this picture?

Could it be that GZ is being framed by the Prosecutor, Judiciary and "higher ups"  to appease the majority within Black community? In other words … race is the issue … not justice.

Jury can consider manslaughter charge in Zimmerman trial

Zimmerman’s lead attorney, Mark O’Mara, told reporters Wednesday after resting his case that the jury’s only option should be the second-degree murder charge brought by prosecutors. If jurors are unable to convict Zimmerman of murder, then he should be acquitted, O’Mara said, because the shooting on Feb. 26, 2012 was intentional

“What George did was an intentional act that he knew he was pulling the trigger, the reason why he did it was self-defense and that doesn’t suggest the manslaughter charge would be appropriate,” O’Mara said.
