Red, I live in South Carolina and here in the south tension has been thick enough to cut with a knife for quite a while. One of my best friends and neighbor is black and we have discussed the tensions in our small little town of 2500 . There is nothing specific that one can point out but something is brewing. Home invasions are on the rise and folks are scared to be outside.

Everyone is tired of the bowing down. Whites in this area are not the racist, it is the other way around.
