Question for Dash: Is Natalee the kind of person to whom people would go if they needed advice or a shoulder to cry on? She seems so level-headed.

What is bothering me is why Natalie was allowed to leave alone with the three at all!  Where were her friends?  Why did she accept a ride with them ostensibly back to HI when they was a ton of cabs shuttling the kids back to the heotel.  Where was the concern as she waved goodbye?  Was it common for the kids to go off with locals?  What have her classmates said about this?

Steve is not the person with the undergound parties.  That was a person named lorenzo who was questioned yesterday.

Just for all concerned, there is nothing off topic here.

 During the slow times of the story, we are developing friendships and relationships to help us when it gets hairy.

If there is a policeman it is myself, Catriana, or Red.

The only behavior that is unacceptable is rudeness. We all have ideas and they do have to be universally accepted. However, we call all be polite.

If we are in a crunch time, and bandwidth is at a premium, I will sound the alert and then we get serious so every one can get on and see what is happenning. Otherwise think of the discussion as team building.

We are all here to help with finding Natalee.

There is plenty of room here for all points of view.  What can't be tolerated is attacking individuals.

there once was a woman who ran a strict blog a few years ago.....it was mostly about Jon Benet Ramsey....but it had a very active David Westerfield thread as well.....

she ran her site as dictator and would never allow anyone to post anything she didn't personally agree on.....her name was Jameson....

well, it didn't last long.....she was hugely popular with we crime buffs but who needs that arrogant approach......

I've been following crime blogs and sites for many years........the ones that last , last because people get to talk and discuss different opinions.....

her site went down the tubes a while back.....

Lee isn't threatening nor is he being critical.  He's merely providing an example and asking a question, and I can't blame him.  New people are coming here (who probably weren't here prior to you posting last week) because Scared Monkeys is the the top blog search result on Google when you type in "Natalee Holloway."

OK,  guy's I have been on here for weeks, and I have been on here for the last 12 hours.  I took a break of one hour and saw the info on the last #5 person being brought in for questioning.  I came back here to see what was up, and after scrolling the last 10 pages, I see no updates but internal bickering.  what is up with that.  this is a source for updates, not a cocktail party!!

Yeah, she's super-sweetie! I've said this before, but she was my Calculus partner and when I had trouble, she was so quick to help without ever talking down to me.  I almost quit the class more than once, but she convinced me not to... I'm glad she did too, b/c I think I did well on the AP Test and now won't ever have to take math again!
She's an amazing person!
