I haven't figured out exactly what the relationship is, but Mary Ellen Walter is connected to Jaime Ligna.
They have a mutual address in Va. (it's in her name, I think it may have been her mother's home), and "his house" in Aruba looks a lot like what I recall of hers from what I recall from the series (I haven't gone back through the episodes to try to find it again).
I've seen some references of her being aka Mary Ellen Ligna, but nothing to confirm if she was ever married to a Ligna or not...yet.

SISTER OF MISSING WOMAN ROBYN GARDNER THINKS HUMAN BONE FOUND IN NATALEE HOLLOWAY SEARCH COULD BE HERS
A human bone found in Aruba during an investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway was tested and does not belong to the 18-year-old who went missing in 2005 -- but a new DNA test may link the bone to missing Maryland woman Robyn Gardner.

Gardner’s sister, Danielle Colson-Unglesbee, said she will be submitting her DNA for tests to determine if the bone could be a match for Gardner. "I'm going to submit my DNA in the next few days to see if there's a match," she told Huffington Post.

The bone belongs to “a single individual” believed to be “a Caucasian European,” according to a former forensic laboratory director Jason Kolowski.

Gardner was 35 years old when she went missing in 2011 on vacation with a man she met through an online dating site, People reports. He told police Gardner was swept away by a strong current while they were snorkeling together.

She is one of four Americans to go missing in the Caribbean in recent years, according to the Huffington Post. Her body was never found, and no arrests have been made. Many similarities exist between Holloway’s case and Gardner's. Both were American women who disappeared mysteriously in the same small town in Aruba.

Holloway was 18 years old when she went on vacation in the Caribbean, where she was celebrating her high school graduation with friends. There, she met a man named Joran van der Sloot, who was later questioned by police for possible involvement in her disappearance but was released due to a lack of evidence. She grew up in Mountain Brook, Alabama and has been missing since 2005.

Robyn Gardner’s Sister To Have Human Bone Found In Aruba DNA-Tested
The bone was found during a recent search for Natalee Holloway.

By David Lohr

Robyn Gardner has been missing in Aruba since August 2011.
230
Scientists soon will be able to compare DNA extracted from a human bone, found during an investigation into the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, to missing Maryland native Robyn Gardner.
“I am going to submit my DNA in the next few days to see if there is a match,” Gardner’s sister, Danielle Colson-Unglesbee, told HuffPost.
The human bone was found during the filming of a TV series on the Oxygen network called “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway.” The show followed the missing teen’s father and private investigator T.J. Ward while they chased leads in Aruba.
Earlier this month, DNA testing ruled out the bone being Holloway’s.
“It is a single individual [to] whom we believe there is a Caucasian European ethnicity attached,” Jason Kolowski, a former forensic laboratory director of the D.C. Department of Forensic Sciences, told HuffPost.

Gardner is one of at least four Americans who have gone missing on the Caribbean island in recent years.
People have long drawn comparisons between the cases of Gardner and Holloway. The American tourists both vanished from the same small town in Aruba.
Holloway, 18, from Mountain Brook, Alabama, disappeared on May 30, 2005, while celebrating her high school graduation with classmates in Aruba.
Gardner, of Bethesda, Maryland, was last seen on Aug. 2, 2011, at an Oranjestad resort and casino. The 35-year-old had been traveling with Gary Giordano, then 50, who she’d reportedly met through an online dating website. Giordano, a Maryland businessman, told police they were snorkeling in the typically tranquil waters off Baby Beach when Gardner was swept away by strong currents.

A photo of Gary Giordano that was released by the Aruban authorities on Aug. 11, 2011.
Neither woman’s body has been found and no arrests have been made in connection with their disappearances.
Van der Sloot, who was named a suspect in the Holloway case, is behind bars in Peru, where he is serving a 28-year prison sentence for the 2010 murder of 21-year-old Peruvian business student Stephany Flores Ramírez.
Giordano, who has always maintained his innocence, was initially held in Aruba on suspicion of involvement in Gardner’s presumed death. He was later released due to a lack of evidence.
The bone found during the filming of “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway” was discovered by an “informant,” and John Ludwick, a friend of van der Sloot, according to the TV series.

In the Oxygen series, Ludwick said he helped dig up and dispose of Holloway’s remains years after her death. It was Ludwick and the informant who provided four bone fragments to authorities. Of them, only one was human. The other three were found to be animal bones. It’s unclear where the bones originated.

During the TV series, the informant said Ludwick told him several stories, including one that indicated the remains had been buried in an Aruban pet cemetery.

When Holloway was ruled out as a match, Internet sleuths were quick to point out similarities between the pet cemetery story and a report about Gardner’s death. That report surfaced in an October 2011 article by The National Enquirer, which claimed authorities received “an anonymous but credible phone tip” that she was buried in a dog’s grave.
While the similarities in the two stories are undeniable, it’s just as likely that Ludwick was aware of The National Enquirer story.
In the event the bone does belong to Gardner, authorities will be very interested in speaking with Ludwick and Madrigal, according to Ward.

If those remains come back and [are] linked to Robyn Gardner and they were in their hands … I guarantee the FBI will snatch ’em up,” Ward told HuffPost last week.

Contacted by HuffPost on Thursday, Madrigal said he’s not concerned with Ward or the FBI.
“There is a catch to all this,” he said. “Nobody knows this because they’re all too f**king stupid to listen. Yes, [Ward] is a private investigator, but he don’t know his ass from his face. Does he know where the bones came from? No. Did he bother to ask? No. If he had a f**king clue he would know all this shit.”
the informant now claims Ludwick told him the bones came from a particular spot in van der Sloot’s yard, before a cement slab was poured in that area sometime in 2005. the informant said he’s already provided that and other information to the FBI.

No way Robyns bones can be in the van der Sloot’s yard, She wasn't dead in 2005

I don't think Margaret Wever is someone we can trust.
Over the years I use to watch the site meter(s) and her IP would show
up a lot, she watches sites and I don't know - I don't trust her. I think
there is something funky going on with her and her connections.

Dear all.
Just a little FYI/update.
I am currently back at work! I had decided not to go back to work after the newspaper was declared bankrupt until mom were strong again. Unfortunately, mom left us on Dec. 4.
I had three interesting conversations in one day a few days later and I decided to take on a new challenge. In this day and age, when available jobs are few I think that mom must have had her say in this from "way up there".
I have joined the ARUBA DAILY team (sister newspaper to Diario, Aruba's largest Papiamento language newspaper).
The Aruba Daily has a WHOLE NEW LOOK and an enthusiastic, dynamic team!
I would love your suggestions and remarks, positive and negative by private message... or by email (I can give you if you Private Message me).

Natalee Missing 150 Months
30 May 2005 - 30 Nov 2017

Today represents 150 months since Natalee disappeared. She was last seen in the early morning hours of May 30, 2005 and to this day not a single item of hers or piece of evidence has been found that would determine what happened to her - she has vanished without a trace.

Many have moved on due to the passage of time but we have not and will not until the answers and Natalee have been found. The reason we will not give up is that our hearts have been deeply touched by one young woman - a young woman that we only know by images we have seen of her and from words spoken by those who know her and love her. The place she has within our hearts can not and will not ever be replaced. Natalee has been missing for many months but she is not forgotten. Her spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts.

What is important now is for us to remember three things:
~ We did not come into this to only come part-way. If we are truly sincere and committed to it, then we're going to commit to it all the way and that 'all the way' means until Natalee is brought back home.
~ Heroes are ones who never quit! Heroes stand their ground in the face of all odds and continue. Natalee and her families need a hero and we have to try our best to be that Hero.
~ We must hold true to our beliefs and we must remember that everything happens for a reason. We may never know why something such as this happens, but we have to believe that we will find out when we are meant to know.

We will move forward once again into a new month with the fervent hope that our prayers will be answered and Natalee will be found and returned home.
