TMZ is reporting that NBA player Lamar Odom is missing and his family has not been in contact with him for 72 hours. Khloe Kardashian threw him out of the house Wednesday after attempting an intervention, but rejected by Odom. Sources close to Mr. Odom and Khloe Kardashian are afraid he’s hiding out on a crack binge.

Lamar Odom has vanished and everyone in his life fears the worst -- that he's off somewhere on a drug binge ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the NBA star tell us people on Lamar's side, and on the Kardashian side have not been able to find Lamar or contact him for nearly 72 hours -- and we're told the main concern is he's hiding out while doing crack cocaine.

As TMZ first reported ... Khloe Kardashian threw him out of the house Wednesday after attempting an intervention which Lamar squarely rejected.

It's okay by me if it stays. I have read it before, when my Niece was getting 'clean and sober'. She is now a happy, drug free Mommy of 2 boys and loving life. Sorry for the

If I was wealthy and trying to kick the crack habit I would go to an island in the South Pacific for a several months.  Have fun riding quads, hiking, snorkeling, take up yoga, eat good food, work out, and read some good books.  He needs a serious detox.  Crack is a habit... break the habit, fill the void, and be free.  Everybody will have a different way of filling the void but there is always a way.  It's all about refocusing.  I wish he and his wife sobriety and a happy life.

Report: Lamar Odom not missing, dealing with 'drug problem'

Lamar Odom's current whereabouts are known and he is not missing, his agent Jeff Schwartz told ESPN.com.

A report from TMZ on Sunday claimed the former Laker star was missing for 72 hours after a dispute with wife Khloe Kardashian. According to the ESPN.com report, Odom has been in a hotel with friends undergoing an intervention for an unspecified drug issue.

However, Schwartz says Odom's location is known and he is safe.
