Maybe that ding-a-ling president should bring his ships back, IMO

This is not the peace I voted for when I elected that ding-a-ling in office.

Russia is sending a reconnaissance ship to the eastern Mediterranean as the US prepares for a possible military strike in Syria, it was reported on Monday.

The Priazovye left Russia's naval base in the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Sevastopol late on Sunday on a mission "to gather current information in the area of the escalating conflict", said an unidentified military source quoted by the Interfax news agency. The defence ministry declined to comment.

Russian Ships Near Syria to Evacuate Civinslia
ST. PETERSBURG, Russia September 5, 2013 (AP)

The Kremlin's chief of staff says Russia has been sending warships to the Mediterranean Sea for possible evacuation of Russian citizens from Syria.

Russian news agencies on Thursday quoted Sergei Ivanov as saying that Russia has been boosting its naval presence in the Mediterranean "primarily" in order to organize a possible evacuation of Russians from Syria.

SYRIA STRIKE
Just whose war is this?

Pat Buchanan decries notion of Americans 'hired out to do the big-time killing for royals'

Published: 3 hours ago (about 17:00)

Wednesday, John Kerry told the Senate not to worry about the cost of an American war on Syria.

The Saudis and Gulf Arabs, cash-fat on the $110-a-barrel oil they sell U.S. consumers, will pick up the tab for the Tomahawk missiles.

Has it come to this – U.S. soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen as the mercenaries of sheikhs, sultans and emirs, Hessians of the New World Order, hired out to do the big-time killing for Saudi and Sunni royals?

Rep. Alan Grayson: Syria Intelligence Manipulated

By Steven Nelson

September 5, 2013

Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., who is aggressively lobbying against a military strike on Syria, says the Obama administration has manipulated intelligence to push its case for U.S. involvement in the country's two-year civil war.

This Bill idea is being floated by two genius Senator's  Smile

Senate bill would give Syria 45 days to sign chemical weapons ban

Manchin and Heitkamp's alternative could forestall an immediate American strike.

By JONATHAN ALLEN | 9/5/13 9:31 PM EDT

The United States would give Syria 45 days to sign an international chemical weapons ban or face the wrath of American military might, under a draft resolution being circulated by Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.).

The alternative to a use-of-force resolution could forestall an immediate American strike and create an incentive for Assad not to use chemical weapons against his own people again. It may also provide a rallying point for lawmakers who are reluctant to either approve strikes or reject the use of force outright.
