Eightball refers to Cocaine.  It's an commonly known as a specific amount of coke nicknamed "Eightball"... Typically it's 1/8th of an ounce of coke.

Has nothing to do with Rock Cocaine or Meth.

I really don't think it has anything to do with "We Built This City....." either!  I think anyone thinking the songs played the other day were cruel, etc is stretching things a little.............

WCoast, maybe not stretching. But would you not admit that it was, in the light of things, am inappropriate set of songs? I guess my thinking was that Natalee's mom (being in Aruba) may have the radio on for news. Just a thought of an overly sensitive mom of a teen daughter...

I think we have a whole group of underground predators removing their "tickle" sites as fast as we can find them.

I think they have been relatively "hidden" amongst their peers, for some time and Natalee's situation has brought a lot of this out in the open.  I don't think many of these teens and adults want the scrutiny.

Catriana...I think you are correct. You may not have seen my previous posts but thanks to these sites, a man met and raped 2 of my students. Worse yet, he posted the photos for eveyone to see online. It's like they think they are invisible to all except their next conquest.

Honestly Kerin, i can't recall all the songs but i do recall being updated on most of what was playing and thought people were reading into it a little too much?  I mean, we're doing a ton of speculating and investigating on this case and this eightball thing has been found on one of the sites.  It's determined it's to do with drugs including a drug that can be referred to as a rock and we're thinking that song links this???  Umm, i don't really think so, i mean they could have played any song that had the word "rock" in it and we'd be jumping to the same conclusion ???  I may be totally wrong and if i am, the DJ deserves to be hung but his nuts   but i tend to believe it was more or less coincidental.

In a separate development, a judge ruled that two of the detainees, Surinamese brothers Deepak Kalpoe (search), 21, and Satish Kalpoe (search), 18, were granted access to documents they have asked for, according to their lawyer.

Any idea what these "documents" were?  Sorry if this has been discussed, just trying to catch up.

I think this is just the evidence that prosecution has to be holding them.  Probable cause information, giving them some kind of idea of what they are up against.

Curious why the Kalpoe brothers won this, but Joran didn't.  Me thinks the system thinks they have less to hide - and we may see them walk soon.  Just a theory!

I sure hope it was coincidental, WCoast. Because when you hear "girls just want to have fun" and then "bad medicine" and then a song about having fun in a car it strikes me as intentional and CRUEL.

Youre right. I heard that her mother and step father have already spent 20k in the 3 wks they have been there. That is an aweful lot of money no matter who you are. Onthe local channel 13 news sight for birmingham I read they are selling yellow bracelets to help pay for costs associated with their stay and search. Eventually they are going to have to go home.
Its a horrible feeling to leave a place without your child. My son was kidnapped by his father, and I have felt the pain of having to leave an area without knowing if my child was ok. I guess that is why this case has captivated me.
(And before anyone asks, yes we found my son and hes back home safe thank god)
