Just looking at a few of the tickle links off of Martin's site makes me sick.

One of those girls said she was 18 but looks about 8.

Yes, it sure opened my eyes to tickle.

Apparently, the currents run fast west ot Panama

I was watching a show on FOX Friday night that had this diving/recovery expert in Aruba and he said objects disposed of or lost off the coast of aruba pretty much end up in Panama due to the currents.

Native, have you heard from Aruba Girl?

Folks there is no reason to boycott Aruba.  Heck, more of us need to go down there till every inch of the island can be checked.

There have been no noteworthy developments reported today (Saturday) in the Holloway case.  Hasibokos.com has received information of many initiatives that have been taken to boycott Aruba. We informed you about the petition to ban Aruba and also the bad publicity that the island has been getting is hurting the tourism industry. It’s clear now that some people have definitely find a way to exploit the situation and fill their wallets…….The latest example of this concerns production of  T-Shirts with different demeaning/awful text towards Aruba printed on them. These are being sold on http://www.tohellwitharuba.com/ for 22$ a piece. You can also view and/or leave a comment on the situation on their website.

ouch. this should not turn into a "everyone in aruba is bad" situation. None of these suspects are even "from" Aruba, correct?

No not really.  But it was pretty crazy yesterday, so maybe this will be one of those down days.  I love the news when it comes and we all sit on pins and needles waiting to hear everything, but maybe a "rest" is good today.  lol.

Yeah, I saw something about that too.  I think he said that there was a particular side of the island that if something was dropped there it would probably never be found.

OK Kerin I would hope not also.  I don't think they'd give up passwords etc. to allow others to get to their websites - do you???

Stranger things have happened. Maybe that's one piece of info that daddy VDS got from Joran when they met? (password) Because Valentin's website was jammed UP with posts from people going off on his brother and now it's down too right? Smile

News reports say Joran and his Dad did NOT in fact meet - -the judge's decision was reversed before they actually met.

Judge Bob Wit ruled that Van Der Sloot's father, Paul Van Der Sloot -- himself a judge -- cannot visit his son, the boy's mother told CNN. The mother, Anita Van Der Sloot, said the judge did allow her to visit, however.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/06/18/missing.teen/index.html

thanks for that Chloe. I keep getting conflicting updates. One says he did meet him and then the next says no. FOX says dad went to court again today and was again denied.

Correct. So far, we have all suspects who migrated to Aruba but are from someone else.

Quote from: "Ting"

The US does not deploy FBI agents to missing person cases, nor do congressmen generally get involved .

Ting - You are 100% correct about that!  - and I might add - get the attention of the U.S. Secretary Of State.

People go missing all the time. The attention this case is receiving  proves to me that it is NOT about privilage and "special connections".

This is a political opportunity and a foot in the door " field trip" for the Bush administration. Bush is rabid about human/drug trafficking & he has no use for Venezuela or the idiot in charge there.

Does anybody know exactly how many FBI/DEA agents are in Aruba? How much does that cost a day? Do the math.

This reminds me of The Perdicaris Affair of 1904. Theodore Roosevelt & George W. Bush have many, many things in common.

That was my tongue & cheek point ealier.

Amen!  I just asked my hubby if he would like to take a trip to Aruba.  He has been many times, I have never been.   Maybe it's time to go.....
