OK since were here on the "not caring" and "cover up " stuff....I was informed yesterday of an Aruban BOy that goes to UCF (in south florida) he was apparently thrown off the balcony of his dorm room by his room mate and is in teh hospital with serious body injuries including a broken neck, legs, arms, ribs and was in a come for a few days and has jsut come out....this happened about 3 1/2 weeks ago...the school has it all on tape aparently...and guess what?? no is is taking the mother seriously...the roomamte even came to the hospital to see "his freind" the mother went bazerk! and the police?? guess what?? DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for her......now can I dare say that she didint get any attention becuase they are not american??? PLEase helop me describe this one.....

speaking as a Police Officer......I have to say...there are alot of cases in the US that do not get solved....but the cases that are being brought up seem to have had no suspects or witnesses saying they saw the victim with this person or that person before they went missing...

now, speaking as just a poster...I feel it is STUPID, ASSHOLE-ISH, IGNORANT...to think that the Arubian ppl are searching for monitary purposes....PULLEEZZZ....our Arubian friends have gone way beyond the call...way beyond anybody here to get us information....We are very fortunate to have them...so please....SHUT THE HELL UP AND LEAVE THEM ALONE!

IT was not a boy it wa s aman and they went to his house and found blood and clothes thrown all over the place...then they found him dead next to his car.....no one said anythign about decapitation....atleast i heavent heard any of it

The funny thing about that report to me (about the boy in the cemetary), they asked how they would focus all of their attention on NH??? What's up with that? That young boy has a mom and dad too with feelings.

What is it about the thread's title ithat is lost on you?  Yeah, they had to make a separate "Breaking News" thread because folks with zero self-awareness like ShellBell, Kerin, etc. think we need running dialogue about their bathroom breaks and PMS.  I've never seen a decent forum get sunk so fast by a handful of morons.   Other blogs and boards are talking about "what happened to scaredmonkeys.com?"  The likes of the aforementioned happened to scaredmonkeys.com.  And it's been tragic.

There's a difference between making comments about our social life and commenting about the news coverage of the case.  This has been done by most of the people in the thread, and to my knowledge people can make posts that stray slightly from the topic.
