“An HHS spokeswoman said the agency wanted to ensure that users were aware of their eligibility for subsidies that could help pay for coverage, before they started seeing the prices of policies,” wrote the publication.

The agency was worried that the spike in healthcare premiums under the new system would scare prospective buyers away, concluded Forbes writer Avik Roy.

The reasoning behind this, said Roy, was because Obamacare was not designed to help healthy people with average incomes.

“It was designed to force those people to pay more for coverage, in order to subsidize insurance for people with incomes near the poverty line, and those with chronic or costly medical conditions,” said Roy.

Have a dread disease?  Million dollar treatment not helping?  What else is in the medical bag of trick or treat?  Another million dollar treatment?  Wait, you mean $2 million dollars?  Might help?

Any refunds for all those million dollar miracles that don't work?

We are being FORCED to pay for INSURANCE for ourselves and others, whether we want it or need it.  We are being FORCED to pay for the administrative costs instead of putting those funds toward better treatment.

We'll take our HBT cards (similar to EBT) and receive (or be denied) treatment according to whether or not the system is working.  This weekend, the EBT computers were down.  Will you get treatment for your child, or mother; or, will you be told to "try later."
