I think poor None had to run out to help mr. none....and the MIL...

I intended to have a little rest this afternoon because I have not been sleeping well at night, that is why I said I would check in later tonight. However, my Sister called just as I fell asleep (typical...I HATE THE TELEPHONE) so now I am up again. Sad ...I am tired. I emailed you back Mrs. Red.

I just responded...LOL!!

Flying Mermaid If you have not already done so, I suggest that you write your own cookbook. Your menu always leaves me hungry!

Nut--

I, too, have problems sleeping...so before I lay down for a nap, I always turn the volume off on the phone...my mom gets severely pi$$ed at me when I forget to turn it back on though...Embarassed

I still think it's a good system b/c I get my naps (such a coveted and necessary thing these days...)

Florintine and scampi are always popular at my house - but if you feel like frying those Japanese Panko Breadcrumbs are just too durn good!

Or bake them on the oven with Proscuitto and Provolone wrapped around them and serve with a lemon, butter garlic and fresh herb sauce and some rice or risotto.

My sister says it's not what I cook but how I pair food with wines, appetizers and dessert to create a total effect!

A couple of suggestions for the shrimp...

A. Get some rosemary (long stems - leaves on) and soak them in water for an hour. Next, take your shrimp and de-vein them and maranate them in garlic and olive oil for a couple of hours. Next, use the rosemary stems as skewers and grill them on the BBQ

B. Peel/deviein the shrimp. Get some Hormel maple bacon and wrap the shrimp with the bacon and place on skewers and then cook on the BBQ basting with your favorite BBQ sauce.

C. New Orleans Traditional BBQ Shrimp - get a bottle of worstershire sauce or 2 and fill a baking dish with the sauce and probably 3 sticks of butter. Next add in shrimp and cook on 200 degrees until butter melts and shrimp cooks until pink. Get some fresh baked crusty bread and then eat the shrimp and dip the bread in the sauce...yum!!

Bubba Gump aint got nothing on me...lol...

Well....if I didn't have a kid, I would shut it off. Even though he is 26, living on his own 45 miles away from meand w/ a good job and such, I still worry. Come to think of it...I haven't slept a wink since the day he was born, LOL!!!
