Katz - I just sent None an email!

Cubbee - Mr. Mermaid wants me to be on the next foodnetwork star show!

I did a pamphlet once - a cookbook sounds like alot of work!

I will attest to that ....

and ask what should I do with shrimp for tomorrow night?

and did y'all know that frozen watermelon tastes like a popsicle???  I just accidentially found that out Embarassed  Embarassed

********************************
A couple of suggestions for the shrimp...

A. Get some rosemary (long stems - leaves on) and soak them in water for an hour. Next, take your shrimp and de-vein them and maranate them in garlic and olive oil for a couple of hours. Next, use the rosemary stems as skewers and grill them on the BBQ

B. Peel/deviein the shrimp. Get some Hormel maple bacon and wrap the shrimp with the bacon and place on skewers and then cook on the BBQ basting with your favorite BBQ sauce.

C. New Orleans Traditional BBQ Shrimp - get a bottle of worstershire sauce or 2 and fill a baking dish with the sauce and probably 3 sticks of butter. Next add in shrimp and cook on 200 degrees until butter melts and shrimp cooks until pink. Get some fresh baked crusty bread and then eat the shrimp and dip the bread in the sauce...yum!!

Bubba Gump aint got nothing on me...lol...

I cook :"B" quite often.... so yummy!  I gotta try the N.O. style!

Hello all...doing a quick drive by...what is this letter BHT received that Hammer mentions in his post?

I may be mistaken, but I have a feeling we jumped to the wrong conclusion that this was a 'perosally written" letter to Beth.

My sense when I heard about this is that she was one of hundreds/thousands that received a letter from Aruban Tourism inviting them to visit Aruba again.  I thought that her commenting on it was to point out the irony of her receiving a letter from Aruba to encourage travel again to the island.  If some one has more information or a copy of the letter, I would be very interested to learn more.

That is so funny that you said this, as I was thinking last night if we could just get Hizb'Allah to Aruba, then we and/or the Israelis could devastate what remains of Happy Whore Island. Laughing

It's raining right now None, but we actually needed it... (my garden needed it, to be honest) so I don't mind....

Katz... hang in there... the good ones are worth waiting for!!

Still no significant rain here more than a sprinkle since last year.  Please redirect rain.  We are becoming a desert.  My bank account is quite arid as well.  High and dry from the electric and water bills.
