TTownMike- Im with you on that one...I, not for one second, believe that this father is unaware of this "situation".  He knows a lot, if not everything, and because he has such a "name" around the island, he prob feels he is nothing but a "poor father that is going through all this for his son" Please!  I am so sick about hearin high ranking, bla bla bla, this investigation needs to get poppin' and they need to start gettin at these people regardles of their ranking in the govt etc......  There is a missing girl out there and i feel as if they are tryin harder to protect their names......and island....Find the girl!

Probably from some heavy hitters in a drug, sex, or money laundering cartel.
The various mafias in the US used to do similar things as warnings.

Interesting how the safest island on the planet all of a sudden has doubled it's homicide rate in just days...

If J had no reason to believe the K's would hurt her, logisically getting dropped off first would not be unlikely. Sorry but kids today don't all do the walking to the door thing. And, they had to go by his neighborhood to go to the HI, she didn't have a car.


1) Nat would not get in the car except for Urine(she didn't know the bros much(if at all))No Way! If not going to lighthouse or whatever (I think she thought she was going straight to HI) and thus he is "innocent" to bros guilt why would he abandon her to them.  Besides, map looks to me like the HI & Marriott were on the way to the bros hse.  Check it out!

Wasn't one of the first persons Nat's mother spoke with on the island a DEA agent?  I believe he was described as "happened to be there."  It's well know we have a strong DEA presence in the Caribbean.  I don't think they just "happen" to be anywhere.  And why contact with him so quickly?  Could the older brother be working for one of the cartels?  On his website, it said he was accepted into Valencia Community College in Miami.  Miami is the entrance point for much of the Columbian drug trade and it is logical to believe that the cartel has many people in Florida, as well as other cities, I suppose, working for them.  We heard early on that the two bros, especially, were known as the "dealers."  There are just too many clues here to ignore this.

Others have talked about the need to keep police happy and committed.  

In addition, there's the reality that a consistent expression of lack of confidence in the police by the family serves to encourage those in custody, or those withholding information, not to talk.

For the family, and, in particular, Natalee's mother, this is a maddening predicament.  Their aggression and skepticism is the biggest reason why this case has any chance of being solved.  Yet, at this point, they have to bite their tongues and toe the company line.

And Natalee's mother gets slapped down on the radio?  She should be given a medal.

Valencia Community College is in Orlando, not Miami.
