The seven-year-old investigation into the disappearance of Kyron Horman took to the West Hills on Sunday.

Multnomah County's search and rescue team along with other volunteers arrived at Northwest Springville Road and Skyline Boulevard early Sunday for a new search. The area is about five miles from Skyline Elementary School where Kyron was last seen at the age of 7.

Sgt. Brandon White, sheriff's spokesman, declined to say how many people would be involved. At least a dozen cars streamed past the barricade by 7:30 a.m. The search was due to start at 8 a.m.

Detectives did not appear to be following any new, hot clues.

"It's nothing new," White said. "Kyron Horman is an open case. It is a case that's near and dear to our hearts and we're not giving up."

Is it any accident that the designated search area is almost entirely owned by Tulatin Valley Water (E of 128th) and 2 very large (55 and 95 acres respectively) parcels of unincorporated land on both sides? It’s a training exercise and saying it is Kyron related is window dressing for Sunday hours and the inconvenience to the property owners who don’t really have any other access in and out for about 8 hours. Will be interesting to see if anyone actually covers the activity.  B

BURNER PHONES?

Could it be that yesterday's official search today as well as previous searches have been all about locating burner phones ... burner phones that were reportedly purchased by Dede, Terri and a friend at the the end of June 2010. Could it be that contrary to past claims by Dede and Terri ... burner phones were also purchased prior to Kyron's disappearance?

Think about it.  Dede allegedly has immunity from prosecution in exchange for her cooperation with the investigation.  Dede's own attorney has stated that his client has had no contact with Terri since July 2010.

Considering Kaine and Desiree cling to the belief that Kyron lives ... logic dictates that info gleaned from ongoing briefings with investigations is the foundation of the belief.

What am I not getting?  When it is considered that the person who according to her own attorney is in the "crosshairs" of the Kyron Horman investigation lived at the Northwest Sheltered Nook Road residence ... it makes sense that a search warrant implies that an official search of the property ... an official search with cadaver dogs ... would not require Kaine's permission.

While Desiree, Me and my family pray everyday this is not our outcome we need answers. Kyron deserves for us to have these answers. He deserves to be found. Why would a father deny any mother the piece of mind knowing he is not there? Why can’t he do that for her for Kyron? i think this is the 1st i heard it wasnt  Cadaver dogs,and
that makes no sense to me, you wouldnt need a dog to help
a live search,on roughly 315 feet on 2 sides and roughly 610
feet on the 2 long sides

i went to a map site and got a rough measurement
for all 4 sides of prop. on a few of the real estate
sites they say the prop is 5 acres 
maybe LE thought he was in the brush,tied up unconscious
IDK if he had been on prop,not buried i dont think you

i got to looking at kaine prop again
@ the prop map link, the 1st highlited prop/lot has no house,
and as far as i can tell never has, next prop on the right
is Kaine house, the prop to the right of kaine, is Kaine too,
the next 3 lots have never had a house.
all 5 of the lots were once owned by the person in the PDF link
im rounding off the size of each lot,as they are close in size
width/following road at top 305 feet, down the side 605 feet
thats about 5 acres each, 25 acres and one house that owns
10 of those 25 acres
rethinking this with the 25 acre info @ home court

I dont know if LE has ever got search warrants for all those
lots,but if TH is involved with Kyrons disappearance/demise
those forested lots is where i would look, as thats a lot
of vacant land and no one close to hear.

Just thinking.  Could Northwest Springville Road and 128th Avenue have been where Terri picked up and dropped off Dede on the morning of June 4, 2010?  Could it be that this is the reason that Dede was not observed at the Germantown exit/entrance to Westwind Farm?

Janet- Dede Spicher was not "picked up" by anyone the morning of June 4th, 2010 and Terri Horman was never on Springville Rd that morning.   Spicher cooperated with LE for over 3 years and testified before a grand jury 3 years ago this week and was subsequently cleared of any knowledge of, or involvement in, Kyron's disappearance. 

I do not think it is fair to accuse an innocent person who has been cleared by MCSO and Multnomah County DA Rod Underhill and DDA Mike Rees .   We ALL want Kyron found but falsely accusing people has done nothing but obfuscate the investigation in the first place

Kelly Davidson Ramirez: I just want to clarify there was a search done Kaine’s property the first couple of days after Kyron went missing. These were search and rescue dogs with a scent article looking for a LIVE child

i think this is the 1st i heard it wasnt  Cadaver dogs,and
that makes no sense to me, you wouldnt need a dog to help
a live search,on roughly 315 feet on 2 sides and roughly 610
feet on the 2 long sides
if you look at the prop box @ link, its almost square
i went to a map site and got a rough measurement
for all 4 sides of prop. on a few of the real estate
sites they say the prop is 5 acres 
maybe LE thought he was in the brush,tied up unconscious
IDK if he had been on prop,not buried i dont think you
would need a dog

Ms. Ramirez has incorrect information.  At about 2AM on Saturday June 5th members of the FBI CARD team arrived at the Horman home.   CARD= Child Abuse Abduction Deployment

While 2 agents separated Kaine and Terri for individual interviews,  a canine team searched the home and their property.  One was a scented canine who was actually given (his handler) items of Kyron's clothing from his hamper (as requested).

Once that canine was finished an FBI canine trained to detect the presence of human decomposition was taken throughout the home and property for the purpose of excluding the home and grounds for human remains.

Conduct search of the immediate area to verify disappearance, especially areas where a child may hide.

 

Needless to say neither a live nor deceased Kyron (or anyone else) was found on the Horman property.  It is just fake news to say that no cadaver dogs were brought onto the property and as Kaine Horman himself maintained on Dr. Phil, his home and grounds were searched with consent 11 times and LE had an open invitation to search it again if they felt it necessary.

Additionally,  Ms. Ramirez, Ms. Young, Det. Young, assigned members of the FBI, MCSO assigned member Schutts, multiple members of both MCSO, MCDA PPB, Medford SO, additional relatives of Kaine, Terri and Desiree were onsite of the Horman home multiple hours per day, every day for at least the first week, and many for 3 weeks.  Terri had an FBI agent assigned to her who accompanied her at all times.   At one point, members of MCSO were driving Kaine's tractor around the property.  Does anyone really believe all those people on that very small parcel of land and tiny home are not detecting a recent clandestine grave of a child?  Does that make sense to anyone?   

In my mind, the question becomes- what is the motivation of the person saying that?  Is it a go fund me site in their name aimed at raising funds they say to facilitate searches outside of those of LE?  That is just fact.

ME:  I think the answer to all this investigator stuff is to send TMH's friends a case of beer and see what really went on.
