I dont feel all sides are being questioned properly because those with her before this happened , could shed a little more light
why havent we heard details about events leading up to 1 AM or when she left?
i mean ok they met at a casino
i am sure she must have told her friends something about her and Joran or what she thought of him
or something
the students should shed more light on this because there is no way they are telling all the know.

Cleary there is an attempt here to save natalees reputation

People have been disappearing along the Mexican border for the last year.

Yes, you can just disappear into thin air.

Not just in Aruba.  That is why we watch America's most wanted.

That is why it even exists.

Hi,

Newbie here, but really like this site.

I have been reading several other sites as well, and curious if anyone knows of a timeline for all the cell phone calls that have been mentioned.

I heard there was a call from one of the two brothers to Joran at about 4 am, then one from Joran's dad to Joran at about 6 am. I know kids tend to keep in touch with one another, meet up for parties, get togethers etc. via cell phone.  Does anyone know if any of that info has gotten out into a public forum?  I know the Dutch rules make access to any of the information difficult. In fact, I know that is why Joran's lawyer is being refused access visits to Joran for 8 days, since he apparently talked to witnesses in the case. (Maybe Joran's father?)

I also wonder if the police have searched the computers at the internet cafe?

Dont..we have a fairly clear picture of who natalee is...they have told us a thousand times she is of high moral standards, smart, etc..We can "paint " a picture of Joran as well..as we have for weeks now....he is a "player" loves to party, makes himself known to the party scene, etc....

Are we sure they didn't pack her stuff?

That is a valid point.  Exactly what I have questioned before.  How could so called friends let an obviously too drunk Natalee leave with 3 foreigners, a few hours before flight time.

That does not seem credible.  I know, I've been in that situation before and did not allow my friend to go...  Friends don't allow that.....

EXACTLY
WHY?
Its so frustrating!
it doesnt even make sense to let someone go off like that, I mean at least someone should have offered to go with her and not alone with 3 guys

<<if aruba and aruba media starts slandering natalee and starts a mud-slinging situation i will be very disappointed.>>

Aruba media has already started.

The folks is Aruba have as many questions as we do. There was a discussion last night where ArubaGirl posed questions the Arubans have based on information published in US papers. You may want to check through ArubaGirl's posting from last night.

At the homepage of this very website, a poster by the name Ester mentioned that in Aruba a girl was missing and later turned out was with a newly found Arubian boyfriend, had her family all upset and stuff...do we know her name, link references about such stories, and what happenened to her?

However, if NH's trail went from the California lighthouse, across the sea to Venezuela...then there's no way of knowing where she could be, now.

Personally, I think if there was any information that Natalee was in Venezuela (or any other country for that matter), her parents would be in that country looking and putting pressure on their government.  I have to think that there are very strong indications that Natalee is still on the island.

Here we go again. Paulus van der Sloot gives a time line that conflicts with known facts, and yet he is allowed to go free. Doesn't this remind you of the 11 days that JVDS, KS, and DS were allowed to go free after telling a story that conflicted with known facts? And two security guards were arrested, instead? Is perjury not a crime in Aruba? It makes you wonder why he is not in jail right now.

I understand the Dutch system of justice. It really isn't that different from the U. S. system, in that information is not released to the public.

But we DO have the ability to monitor whether progress is being made, or NOT made. And, right now, it's deja vu, all over again, to quote Yogi Berra.

None of us know the FACTS. We only know what we have SPECULATED from hearsay information.

AMEN Cancun! We know nothing, something speculation or rumors prove to be true BUT without anyone allowed to make factual statements, we can only guess UNTIL the proof comes.

I guess that'll never go away though.

Anyway, how are you?

They could dig. THey'd have to get on the internet and look, like the people finding out about Joran have. The difference is that they would not find anything that would tarnish her reputation.

Carlo is no longer Joran's attorney. He has two new attorney's and has since that barring.

We can not get evidence information as it is "private" and we have not heard any rumors etc of who called, texted etc other than what was stated byt he brothers.

The question of the day is: What is the connection
between the detained trio – van der Sloot and
the Kalpoe brothers – and the fourth detainee Steve
Croes?
Police detained the 26 year old Croes at his
residence in Santa Cruz early Friday morning after
he was invited to the police precinct to declare as
a witness the evening before. Apparently one of
the Kalpoe brothers mentioned his name during
interrogation. Because of apparent contradictions
Croes was detained for interrogation.

It seems to be one of the brothers 'fingered' to Steve Croes

If someone does not want to use the fbi hotline for whatever reason, this one on America's Most Wanted promises secrecy.

Also the article on Natalee is interesting and mentions the MC at CandC noticing her leaving also--not jsut her friends.

You can have one accident and get 10 different stories.  I am wondering if sometimes cops will account for different perspective and interpretation.  If you look at the famous OJ simpson for example.  The case of the no so fitting glove....at one hand you can say its the murderer glove, then OJ tries to put it on, and viola, it does not fit.  There fore using pure logic, you must aquit....
