Ok, guys.  I know I'm not the only one that was watching MSNBC when the reported gave the story about 15 minutes ago that Joran left Natalee on the beach asleep.  Did anyone else see that?

We have went from a car tailing the car Natalee is... Natalee in a backseat of a car with an ax man chasing some radio station volunteers away, Joran has a secret illigetimate brother who help create the crime, elder van der sloot likes Mickie D's at 3am.... so on...so on... and so on.

Since no one can make a statement of the facts, I really don't believe anything anymore except Natalee is alive and out there somewhere.

My first post though I've been here all along in the cracks and shadows, through the kind and not so kind. MSNBC just reported that Joran said he left Natalee asleep on the beach.  Has this been reported before?

I do not remember hearing this reported before now.

I don't know of that either.  The reporter was saying what the brothers had told as to what they did after they left Joran and Natalee on the beach, then told that Joran said he left Natalee there asleep.

my thoughts exactly.  but, if that was the scenario, it does not explain what happened to the body.

i think he's finally cracking.  although, i am sorry to hear about the alleged suicide attempt.  that is not the answer to anything whether he is guilty or overwhelmed by the coverage.

Is he at the main prison.  Could he just be terrified.  Maybe in Aruba it is different, but bad things happen to handsome young men in American prisons.

HEARD THAT:  Joran tried to commit suicide last night and police have him under careful watch....ok now before everyone starts HOGGING this ....we need to understand the pressure hes under and we DO NOT KNWOif he is guilty or not...so this can be a sign of 2 things:  
1. hes guilty and watnsthis to end before we find out
2. hes NOT guilty and is just tireed of everyone focusing on him alone and not believing him.....
So please before we go off on this lets wait and see what happens

You know what AIA, I have thought about this a lot.  What if this boy didn't do anything.  Yes, he was a party boy, but I went to high school with a lot of party boys and none of them were murderers.  I also know a bunch of kids today that like to dress and talk like "gangstas" but are the killers? - No.  I did some research on the boy when his name first came out and found information from his school indicating that he was a good student who tutored in math as well as into sports.  I am suspicious of him, but I find it hard to believe that he is a cold blooded murderer.  I may be wrong, but I see him as a scared 17 year old who had a severe lack of parental guidance, but I'm not sure about him being a murderer.

I'm still thinking, if she is dead, that it was accidental.  None of these boys seem like cold blooded murderers to me either.  But they ARE hiding something and that something should lead us to Natalee.

Well that would be an honest mistake. At this point I have NO idea what to think. I go back and forth thinking "sex trade", "murder", "Joran involved". "Joran not involved"....

But one theory I have NEVER thought true was that Natalee ran away on her own, is in hiding, blah blah blah

Honestly at this point, we don't know what he's guilty of. He's guilty of endangering her life, at the least. He did not bring her to the hotel and see her inside, so he's guilty of putting her in a dangerous position at the least. He's also been lying...but I guess it's true that we don't really even know.
There's a lot of ways to read his action...he's shown he's sneaky, so there could be motive to this...but in any case, it is sad.
Don't have much sympathy for his dad, but I feel bad for his mom.
Maybe he'll give up now, and tell them what happened to Natalee.

But I guess at this point we need to remember to include him and his family in our prayers-that they will get some guidance and do what is right (not suicide).

It is not uncommon for people in prisions to attempt to take their own lifes. I am glad he did not succeed
