I want to suggest that you put her missing poster also on Josh and Leanne's explore365 blog. People who look for travel advice, or people who Josh and Leanne met during their trip or infrequent readers of the blog who don't know yet that she's missing might see it that way.
February 3 at 4:45pm ·

Josh Bearden Hi Martina, I will do that as soon as I get our laptop back from LE.

Fiya Jean cant you do it from the computer you are on now?

Josh Bearden
FINALLY got our computer back.
Leanne MAY HAVE been wearing these sunglasses taken the week before at Enchanted Rock. — with Leanne Hecht Bearden.

I don't see it yet, anyone else?

http://www.goexplore365.com/

It looks like their blog has 80 followers, wondering if any of them are people that Josh and Leanne may have stayed with during their travels (couchsurfing)?  Also wondering if they might give some insight into their interactions during their travels that others didn't see and aren't documented on their blog?

With the concern of getting the word out there about Leanne, and the "runaway" theory...I just don't understand why Leanne's status is not on their blog?!

When you combine this fact with the fact that Josh kept the couchsurfing aspect from the PI that THEY hired...it really makes me wonder.

Great eye on the rings!  He is all over the place with those rings - shows photos of a 2 piece set, later talks about it being 3 pieces then they're different rings all together.  I still question the shoes, it will be interesting to see if he backtracks on those.  Is her family so quiet because of something going on behind the scenes with which they disagree or are they so laid back they are content to let Josh handle this.  Usually by now there is a pretty clear direction where things are heading.  All the confusion simply has to be manufactured misdirection.

I haven't forgotten your questioning the shoes.  I've been looking at lots of photos.

Totally JMO, but I don't think Leanne's family is content to let Josh handle this; LE...maybe?  IMO their minimal statements could be an indicator of that.  I do recall one of Leanne's brother's stating that they had met with (or spoken to?) LE.

The Garden Ridge Police Department has been searching for Bearden since Saturday night and has checked the area in its jurisdiction, Chief Donna O'Conner said.

The department has been working with the Comal County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers from the beginning, O'Conner said. The agencies now are getting permission from property owners to search more private land, she said.

The agencies also are continuing their investigation in other ways, O'Conner said.

“We really are doing things that are confidential, and information about those things could impede an investigation,” she said.

Josh, all of the recent photos and details are extremely helpful. When Leanne left, did she have on a hat or ball cap? Also, can you give us a timeline and details about the days before she went missing?

Josh Bearden No, no hat or anything like that. I'm sorry about the timeline. My dad is very meticulous and wants to make sure everything is accurate. I finished my timeline days ago. We should have this up tomorrow.

AND his Dad was the first person he called after 4 hours of Leanne missing.  I have very little respect for and suspicion of a Man who has traveled the world over for 2 years but didn't know what to do when he realized his wife was missing after 4 hours except call his Dad.  Strange and as always JMO.  I just don't believe that was Leanne that was spotted walking down the street.  Convenient that someone spotted a young teenager and Josh immediately said it was Leanne and now it is gospel that it was her.  I just have my doubts it was really her. JMO.

I am still looking to see if anyone saw or had contact with Leanne during the time Josh's parents were out of town.

Josh Bearden Yes, we brought it back. I have to think that she has it because the people that saw her said she had a backpack. At first, I thought for sure they were wrong because I couldn't find a backpack missing and even questioned if the people had seen a different person but after I realized days later that MY backpack was missing it came together. The landscaper said that she had a black backpack so it didn't register. From the side it does look black so I understand his confusion.

It doesn't look black from the side to me.

I'd like to know when the last time Leanne was seen by someone other than Josh as well.

I'd also like to know if Josh has been asked, and if he has taken a LE polygraph.  I think we'd know if he had taken one and passed, he would be screaming it!  If he hasn't taken one and eventually does, my guess is it will more than likely be a privately arranged one (dad will probably take care of that too) and not by LE .

The last I read about the reported sightings in Austin, Josh said they weren't even close to being confirmed.  And frankly, Leanne doesn't strike me as the panhandling type.  jmo

If his prior comments are correct, this isn't his first trip to Austin.

Maybe he couldn't find anyone to pass out flyers for him?

Or maybe he just needed to get away for a little while?  Was he there last night too?  Everyone I know LOVES a visit to Sixth Street now and then!

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g30196-d1863269-Reviews-6th_Street-Austin_Texas.html

I think 6th street usually has a heavy police presence, if Leanne were in the area I think she would have been spotted by now.

Why aren't there flyers hanging in the area Leanne supposedly disappeared from?

I think it's odd they shared a profile:

Josh Bearden said the couple shared a profile on the site CouchSurfing.org

I think it's even odder they were sharing a phone!  They make her sound like a world traveler, adventurous woman.  Why would someone like that SHARE a profile?  It's not logical.  This is an independent woman, I cannot imagine she wanted to be be known as only the other half.

I hope I'm wrong but Josh seems very controlling to me.  I pray she decided she needed more in her life and she's unharmed but my gut tells me otherwise.

Family Now Doubts Bearden Runaway Story

Posted Sunday, February 9th 2014 @ 7am  by Jim Forsyth

With Leanne Bearden now missing with no trace for more than three weeks, her family is starting to doubt that she was not a victim of foul play, 1200 WOAI news reports.

"The only thing we do know is that lack of contact to anyone she loves is very worrisome," the Bearden and Hecht families wrote in a web posting Saturday.  "We strongly feel that if she could have contacted us, she would have by now."

I think it odd  they shared a phone a computer and he has access to her FB accounts and logged on to it during the search. To me this girl had no privacy! It was always WE!
I would not survive a 2 yr trip with my hubby whom I love dearly 24/7 for over 600 days  OMGGGGGGG that is not good for any relationship!

I agree he seems very controlling!
I think she saw her moment and ran for it.
My guess is she grabbed his back pack thinking his wallet was in it with the CCards and money! This is why he knows how much money $60.00 she has
