why didnt the BnL talk to this woman,she is his sister,or one of Leannes sisters husband

Leanne's parents live in Atlanta, GA.
 Leanne's oldest brother and his family live in Houston, TX.
Leanne's older sister and her family live in Woodstock, GA.
Leanne's other older brother and his family live in Cummings, GA.
 Josh's parents live in Garden Ridge, TX - that is where Josh and Leanne have
been over the last couple of weeks.

cw618, it wasn't Josh's brother in law that claims they saw her.  (I didn't save this post, so I'm going from memory here since I couldn't find it again) I read a post on the Our Friend Leanne page a couple days ago where a woman posted that her brother in law saw a woman sitting at a table (or maybe on a bench?) out in the rain in front of the Subway, but she never went inside.  She said he didn't know about Leanne until after he'd been home a while and saw something about her being missing.  When he saw Leanne's picture he thought the woman at the Subway may have been Leanne.  Josh obviously copied a post from somewhere about this, but didn't explain that...so I'm sure a lot of people were confused by it.

But still...Leanne has family in Georgia and I think it would have been just as effective to have THEM post the information to their FB pages that he posted on Leanne's.  It would seem that they would have FB friends in the area too. 

I'm sure if there was any chance the woman that was seen was Leanne, her family was checking it out!

I hate to say this but I really have been thinking it, it almost seems like real efforts are being made to have everyone chase after leads that only amount to distractions.  JMO

Leanne has now been missing for over three weeks and to the best of our knowledge, she has not contacted any of her friends or family. While there are many more questions than answers, the only thing we do know is that lack of contact to anyone she loves is very worrisome. We strongly feel that if she could have contacted us, she would have by now. Therefore we feel that we are reliant on someone else who knows something to give us information. We are hoping offering a financial reward will encourage that person or people to share that information.

Again, at this time there is no evidence that points to any crime being committed, but the lack of any real credible information and lack of contact by Leanne to any of us has us extremely worried and we just want to know that Leanne is ok - that is all.

But he still hasn't posted the Timeline of the days before Leanne's disappearance that he supposedly finished days ago...and said he would post at least two days ago now.

You know...the one his dad is meticulously going over to make sure everything is accurate even though he was out of town for the entire week before Leanne supposedly disappeared!

Josh Bearden There is nothing that "lead up to" Leanne disappearing. She went for a walk and nobody has heard or seen her since that terrible day.

Tommy Vincent I would like to know who and when the Garden Ridge police department: a) Requested signal camera recordings during the four hours between the time Leanne left home and Josh called "911", b) When those recordings were provided from the city to police. c) When those recordings were actually reviewed. d) Who reviewed those recordings. e) Was family (or another third party invited to review those recordings, this is many, many hours of video evidence from multiple cameras in the Garden Ridge, particularly the 3009 sets of cameras) f) Was EVERY vehicle recorded on those four hours of video identified and followed-up on in-depth...

Tommy Vincent There are traffic signal cams to both the east and west of Sumac along 3009... these are on 30-day recording loops and are owned by the City of Garden Ridge. These cameras, based on information from the tree trimmer and the end-of-scent from canine searches, indicate that she was last on 3009 at Teakwood, one street over from Sumac. If this is the case, there is no way that Leanne could have travelled, either by foot or vehicle, past those signal cams without being captured. EVERY vehicle caught on video cam in that four hour span should be investigated.

We have heard from the police on this and what look to be cameras are actually sensors that triggers the lights to change. Again - please keep thinking like this and sending us ideas as we need to make sure we are pushing on every possibility!

CW you are exactly correct in what you are reading and thinking.  That's why most of us believe that it's not only wrong, it's very odd that Josh is posting on Leanne's facebook.

TM - do you remember, did they have a car they could use at his parents house?  When Josh went looking for Leanne, did he walk looking for her or drive? 

If I understand correctly, they left their truck there while they were traveling.

Here's the link to the blog post that I'd read that made me think the truck was at his parents while they traveled.  When Leanne was first missing I'd read that they were supposed to fly back to Denver, but then I read they were actually driving...so it makes sense to me that they were going back in the truck.

Leanne "disappeared" Friday (Jan 17th) before they were supposed to be driving back to Denver on Tuesday, according to Josh.

But the registration for their truck hadn't been renewed, and it had a dead battery?

They'd been at Josh's parents since the 23rd of December.

What was the holdup on getting those things taken care of?

Maybe they were planning on driving Josh's parents car to Denver?

unless Josh parents home is new to Leanne, seems she would have a fav walking area
and walking down the FM3009, just dosent seem like a place for a leisurely walk
i havent checked on offenders in the area, maybe LE checked on them
no links but have read comments from folks, in the news articles,that say they know Josh
and Leanne, Josh is nice easy going guy,Leanne too, JMO, i dont think she left to be leaving,
it just freaks me out how many people go missing, just from taking a walk

This is where I originally read about it...on the Our Friend Leanne FB page.  I didn't go to Cathy Sheffield Hackle's page at that time, so I didn't know that's where Josh shared the post from until I found this post again today (and went to her page).

Cathy Sheffield Hackle My brother-in-law called the number on this site and reported seeing this girl last week sitting outside a Subway (Macon, Ga.) in the rain with a back pack. She was asked by staff there to come inside to get out of the rain and she refused. My BIL got a good look at her and is positive this is the same girl. Later when he came back through, she was on I-16 walking, headed in the direction of Savannah, Georgia (the coast). The Subway that she was sitting outside of is across the road from a major truck stop in our area. We see on this site that it is reported there have been "no sightings" of this girl. Are you even looking outside of TEXAS????

Me too, but I'd really like to see the original one that Josh finished days ago.  That's not gonna happen.

I'll still be interested if he ever puts one out there at all, but I'll wonder what's been changed or even removed from it. JMO
