The family was informed, however, that paying $1,000 to a certain official might make him work harder to find Natalee. Friends of the family concluded about that official that "no sum of money could make him smart enough to help us." Finally, a team of FBI agents arrived in Aruba. Island police arrested the three boys last seen with Natalee, but offered no information about their investigation. Despite their frustration, the family maintained a positive spin for the media, saying "they are pleased with the process." Behind the scenes, that was hardly the case.

Ok...who is Chuck Geiss and why should I believe this to be fact?

Odd.
Dash was here an hour or so ago and had to leave for an interview with Greta.
She was in jeans and a t-shirt and didn't want Greta to think she was a bum, or something to that effect.
Guess we shall see.[/quote]OK - getting in my car (pajamas, chip clip and face cream) and driving to the Memorial Wall right now - can't think of where else she'd be if they actually are in Bham.  Be right back.

Arlene Ellis Schipper, the Aruban defense attorney that's been on Fox several times just stated that prisoners in Aruba are allowed to wear their own clothes.  Their parents can bring them clothes when they are there for visitation.

I know that there was a question before (why the guys were in regular clothes).  Speculation was b/c they were headed to court, but apparently that's not the case.

As you all can see, I seldom post.  I am now, as I invite you to check out the texas eqqusearch website posted below.  Some may choose to make light of a bunch of folks on horses riding around Aruba hunting for Natalee.  Perhaps their experience (the eqquesearch team) in Sri Lanka will help them.

What this group of volunteers has achieved and accomplished is amazing.  I can testify to this as the daughter of a good friend here in my small Texas town was abducted in 2002 (no, she did NOT run away)....I personally worked and helped with these volunteers for over 2 weeks....they would not leave .... their organization and work ethic is awe inspiring.

PLEASE take a few moments to check out their website, which features Natalee and other missing people.  I apologize in advance for the long post, and will go back to just quietly reading.

tcumom...thanks for posting that. I live outside Houston and their work is well known in this area. A very well-respected group! Pray for their safety as they assist the Aruban LE in the search for Natalee.

Bill's kids are gonna hate life at 16, 17 & 18.

This cop is also a bit seperated from reality.  This guy couldn't tell the graduates what to do any more than they could tell him what to do.

Women and men for that matter are drugged or misled all the time, no matter their age.

Remember, ANYONE can be a victim of a crime.

Anyone want to volunteer to be Bill O'Reilly's kid?

No, But I was probably just as bad. My kid had to call me every hour on her senior trip...

I'm just catching up, trying to read through the last few posts on 13 and the new ones here.

When you mentioned Deepak's friend earlier, did you mean the one from the  internet cafe? I think the name was Angelina Rivas. Don't know if this is who you have in mind.

They will probably do the same type of interview as before--one in Aruba and the other in Alabama.

Interesting interview with defense attorney expert.

It is obvious that the systm is very careful with witness versus suspect.

More so that we probably are in this country.

I think it's time this troll waiting_too_long should be banned from the forum.  It's one thing to have an opposing opinion, but it appears this poster is here to stir things up.

I'm writing the mods to suggest he/she/it be removed.

You know, Kerin, my kids think that too...where do they get that information?  Who told them that?  I'm trying to convince them that everyone else eats frozen dinners and spaghettios for every meal too.

Now bobcats, don't go away mad - we can agree to disagree. I just have a different view than you do, that's all.  Don't take it personally, just take it for what it is.
