"Report: Investigators Now Looking for ‘Mystery Woman’ who Called Malaysia Airlines Pilot Before Takeoff"

Quote
Investigators are focusing their efforts on discovering who called Malaysia Airlines flight 370’s pilot shortly before takeoff using a prepaid cellphone purchased with a false ID, Britain’s Daily Mail is reporting.

According to the report published late Saturday night, “The captain of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 received a two-minute call shortly before take-off from a mystery woman using a mobile phone number obtained under a false identity.”

The call was one of the last made to or dialed from Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s cellphone on the day of the flight now more than two weeks ago, the Daily Mail reported.

“Investigators are treating it as potentially significant because anyone buying a pay-as-you-go [prepaid] SIM card in Malaysia has to fill out a form giving their identity card or passport number,” the British paper wrote.

Hmmm...imagine having to fill out a form and provide your identity card or passport number to buy a 'pay-as-you-go' SIM card?

In the US, the important things like voting don't always require anything but a name...no id.

Imagine if Obama phone applicants had to provide a photo ID?  Using welfare benefits required a photo ID?  Food stamps?

What is the punishment in Malaysia for providing false ID?

KUALA LUMPUR: In a bid to check the influx of illegal foreign workers, Malaysia will soon issue new biometric identity cards to nearly 2.3 million foreigners in the country.

Malaysia relies heavily on foreign workers to support its tourism and infrastructure industry. There are 2.25 million documented foreign workers in the country right now. Labourers from countries like India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Cambodia also works in its rubber and palm plantations.

If Malaysia can document and keep track of 2.25 million foreign workers, why can't the US keep track of foreigners?  Find illegal aliens?

Maybe Americans on welfare would find jobs if there were 10 million overnight openings?
