I'm not real thrilled about anything Top 95 says right now. They are reporting rumors about Deepak being fingered as the key to it all, and that just doesn't square with the cops throwing Natalee's picture at Joran and calling him a murderer. Top 95 is getting hearsay.

A lot of noise and smoke is being put out in this case and that usually means that someone wants to keep WELL hidden and has BIG connections.

perhaps they are trying to get a confession out of him.  either "i did it" or "deepak did it" kind of thing.

Nooooo! If this situation were not so tragic she would be hilarious!

I say put her in an RV with Anna Nicole and Ann Coulter, and blow that lame Paris Hilton reality show out of the water.

Just imagine the hair time.

Does anyone remember that another girl (Amy Bradley) came up missing from this same Island?  Partying in the same bar?  Has anyone seen the news about this and others missing from Aruba?   Confused

No Mariloo, noone remembers that because it didn't happen.  Amy was on a ship that visited Aruba.  She was invited to go to that same bar, but didn't.  The ship LEFT Aruba.  Amy even had dinner that night with her parents after leaving Aruba.  However, she was not found on the ship before it arrived at the next stop Curacao.

Many believe the hip hop guy "Yellow" threw her overboard.

Others believe Brothel/Sex trade and other things.

Amy Bradly went missing from a cruise ship approaching Curacao. She was never in Aruba. Some guy reported later he had seen her in a brothel, but it was later found that he made that up to extort money from the parents.

Katya,

I don't know of any extortion plot through the news etc, so if my facts are wrong I apologize. The man who reported (through embaressment I hope) was in the Navy, stopped at a brothel in Venez. she said her name was Amy Bradley and she needed help. He did not report it for a year. When they got to Venez. there had been a brothel there but it had burnt down and obvious that the group had moved on.

I still believe and hold onto the hope that Amy is still alive.

I agree, re everyone remembering Aruba if they obstruct Nat's mom.  Ya know, after three weeks, most folks world wide are starting to ask the question, "Are the Aruban law enforcement officials just inept, or are they trying to kidd glove this case."  I know already that I will in all likelihood never visit that Island, just because of this case.

well you knwo ir espect your opinion and everythign but since when were crimes solved so quickly in the US? I mean there are cases that ahve gone on for years......I mean how do we not know shes alive? I mean if the US police is so competent where are all those missing children then? I mean come on do we really ahve to have those speculations?? how about chandra levy?1 whole year in W.D.C and that was w/ FBI and all the large enforcements....why cant this be the same thing???

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Criminal investigations run into the same problems here in the US as Aruba is facing, now. Police departments have a rough time when the case becomes a media event. The best US police departments refuse to comment and allow the news to come out during the course of the trial. As frustrating as it is, the Aruban police department is doing the right thing by not allowing this case to become a media spectacle. Hopefully, Natalee's parents will be able to get enough information to conduct their own search without the case being jeopardized by a trial by media.
Yes, although Amy Bradlee had left Aruba and was on a crusie ship destined to Curacao when she disappeared.  A serviceman later reported seeing her in a brothel (and passed a lie detector test).
From what I have read and seen from her parents there was a fuzzy connection between a bartendar at CnC and 3 guys that worked on Amy's cruise ship that had an unusual interest in her(Amy).  I believe there is more going on on this little piece of paradise than most people know. JMHO
I remember seeing Amy Bradley's parents interviewed on Fox soon after Natalee's disappearance. I believe she disappeared from a cruise ship, and her parents seemed to suspect someone who worked on the ship. I'm not sure if the ship ever docked in Aruba, but I don't think I heard the island mentioned specifically.
What I read was, the cruise ship was moving from Aruba to Carocao and she came up missing sometime around the docking process at C.   Amy 's mom had mentioned some men on the ship (I believed employees) who wanted to take Amy to the bar Carlos and Charlies.  These are the facts as I heard them.
OK Listen up.
Before I go home, and log right back in. I am retracting a previous statement.
I do not think the BS'ing needs to stop nor do we need another thread. These threads are what they are and have been for quite sometime. Also a peek rumor time that are on target and invaluable.
Possibly the only recommendation I would make is: It is the regulars responsibility for the Breaking News only thread to be up to date and accurate and clean. Then when people say they cant find x,y,z we point them there unless the are looking for a rumor. Then I guess we have to help them.
End of soapbox time to make the 1.5 hour commute home in a few. Smile
Stop posting good things! I was supossed to leave! JK
Thank you absolut! You could not be more true. I have not seen one time where someone did not ask for an update that someone here gave them everything, started over with the news etc. We are always helpful!
Heck some of us, use all our time to trying to get breaking news for everyone, verify it..do all we can. I have spent countless hours on it myself.
There's no need to scroll and feel like you need to catch up for breaking news... I get PM'd all the time from people asking me for information updates, which I gladly give and will always give!
Yes, I agree with Cali, Absolut. Did you know that we BOTH maintain huge boards with all the info from this case just to stay up to date? I am willing to point anyone in the right direction.
I've read the Deepak did it rumors too. It makes sense now that Croes is being held. I think they're going after Croes supplier (big fishes) Rolling Eyes
There was a report yesterday in an Aruban paper that one of the 3 suspects attempted suicide.  No other newspaper or radio has reported it.  We don't know if it's true but the paper was specific about it being one of these 3 suspects.
I do remember Amy Bradley was on a cruise ship, but she got off in Aruba and never came back to the ship.  She was reported to have been at the same bar Nat was in.  Just curious if anyone finds this a little disconcerting.
CancunMole was kind enough to let me know that there is still no confirmation on the actual suicide attempt (as far as the person).
Just thought some of you may want to know.
I read a report saying it wasn't the suspects involved in the Holloway case.
THE ONE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WAS REPORTED IN YESTERDAYS EDITION OF BONDIA ARUBA.  IT IS STILL UP. IT SAYS ONE OF THE THREE INITIALLY DETAINED SUBJECTS IN THE  HOLLOWAY CASE ATTEPTED SUICIDE, IS UNDER OBSERVAION AND IS DEPRESSED, THAT PAER IS STILL UP ON THE SITE AND THE ARTICLE IS TILL THERE AS OF FIVE MINUTES AGO,  NO CONFUSION HERE.
THANKS, IQUITOS!!! THROW ME A PM IF YOU HEAR ANYTHING, PLEASE?
