People. Y'all know where we learn our English from?

Movies and cable tv from..... The U.S. So, I'm not saying that it is his letter, but American slang is NOT a way to go about proving that it isn't his letter.

So IF the dad was in Holland, he couldn't have been at McD at 3 am, huh?

Dad was in Aruba...the mother was in Holland.

How could the mother have been in Holland when she was a teacher at the school and classes hadn't ended yet? There was a teachers' inschool day on Friday -- the day after Joran was arrested.

But I thought I'd heard the father flew in from Holland. but could be a RUMOR.

Anyway, I'm far behind because my phone lines got zapped by lightning a day and a half ago.

I'm with NancyDrew, what's this about Natalee going to Joran's house?

Surely the meny would be too smart to sent emails like that to each other--that date is while they still were implicating the guards.

Could have been sent to Steve.

oh just one point before I go, if this email were true, it did prove that her friends tried to get her out of that car.......at least once, which makes more sense to me.....

On the supposed email from Deepak.  I don't recall that his English was that good on the blogs I had read he posted on.  Smells fishy to me....

Your saying his blog English is worse?, and this email grammer is better..ughh.. I d expected a student from Colegio Arubano to write better then that email I just read.

There are some quotes that I fear friends of Natalee's will not like, so I didn't want to post it all......you have all gotten so upset when things arent said that meet the stellar picture that you have of Natalee in your head, then again, it is Deepaks perspective, so it was the way he "saw" it.

There are always 2 sides to the story, WW.  I for one would welcome a different view.

I agree, and seeing as how he's being held for suspicion of murder right now, it would stand to reason his account would be less than flattering and, perhaps less than honest. So people would read into it whatever they wanted, I guess.

Very True!

I'll bet Geraldo is just turning green with envy, Greta has outscooped him again............

I like the fact that Greta takes you around the island so you can get a feel for the situation.........but that girl needs a fashion stylist, I cannot imagine wearing those preppy button down shirts in Aruba in June, HOT HOT HOT

She wears them here in DC in August with 100% humidity.

Not defending Geraldo here...can't stand the man.  Don't forget his new young wife is due to deliver his baby in @ 2 weeks.

Not sure this is related, but very possible.

Here's a wild theory. What if Geraldo was right? What if he were right when he said, "I have it from an impeccable source, an impeccable source. . ." And what if he was run off the island because his sources dried up? And what if Greta was brought in because she had better courtroom skills? You know how that works, you work hard to establish your credentials and to establish rapport, before asking the hard questions. And what if Greta has access to that same "impeccable source."
It will be something to see this bulldog get the marrow out of the bone.

impeccable source or unimpeachable source? and what did Geraldo know?

Compananzi, I can assure you that my English (good or bad) wasn't the result of being a Colegio student. Besides, there are U.S. teens who also write like that, and English is their first language!
