How do you know they didn't ask the question?  They would probably just assume she was with one of the other friends.  Given that a lot of them were probably drinking and partying I really doubt they were that concerned.

Did you happen to catch the cnn special where they showed the group from boston going to carlos and charlies? As soon as they left the bar they had lost all sign of their friends and mada no attempt to find them.

I'd send it to fox and let them verify.

With 130 kids on the trip, I can easily see everyone either assuming she was with other friends or not even thinking her at all.

About allowing JVDS to drink - in Holland, kids can drink beer and wine at 16, only for hard liquor do you need to be 18 (and you can't drive until 18).

If you look at some of the www pages from travel agents for these "unofficial graduation trips" they mention specifically that the drinking age in Aruba is 18 but that no one cards anyone (this is common in many resort areas elsewhere as well) and my guess is that the same is true for the casinos. Of course, when something bad happens, then all the proprietors say "oh, we card!" just as all the kids say "we only drank responsibly" - the travel packages also mention things like "30 hours of open bar" - yet target these trips to 18 yr olds who are not legal to drink here.

Some one help me out with this one.

Natalee's presumed 2 close friends just said that Natalee introduced herself to VDS at the black jack table? She is the one who made the introduction? Did I hear that correctly? Or did she do so after he may have said something to her? Would have been a nice follow up Greta, eh?

The friend actually said, "he wasn't flirting or anything" Natalee went up to him....

I don't know...I'm just not buying the e-mail account...just before broadcast of Greta's show and dis-crediting NH...can you say dis-information??? It's an old trick...known to many...

I still would like to see full internet mail headers showing IP and e-mail addresses and domains. Without that data it's ONLY HEARSAY!!!

And right now, it's better hearsay than what we've seen.  All this up to this point has been speculation, even by the media somewhat because of Dutch law restricting information. This at least is a look at the possibilities of the other side.

"So betty that was my part of the story what i said here is the same in my statement, people are saying they are bad guys lock them up , the family is going thru a lot righnow , but what they don't know how the other families feel and how they also have a reputation and carreers etc. because when this all is over they will still be talks that were the 3 guys that had something to do with the kidnap of natalee its a small island.they don't understand the pressure we are having also, if this girl turns up dead we have a problem we were the last seen with her . I lost a lot of friends who think we had to do something with this, many of my friends supported us also brought food etc. for us at home and know we are innocent, we are innocent also we promise i would NEVER hurt anyone in anyway, i would do every everything to help find her thats what we told eveyone also , i would take a bullet to save her and bring her back to her family if i had to so would my friend also.i would never never hurt anyone i'm a very happy and social person who likes to make friends with people and not hurting them"

Who is betty?

The person the email was sent to.  I believe WW failed to delete her name there.

The one thing I find interesting about wonderwoman's/Depack email is this - until tonite on Greta - we did not know that Joran snuk out, and we also heard from Natalee's friend tonite that Nat introduced herself - this email does seem to support those two facts - and this email appeared before Greta's show - that to me is rather interesting!

Did he write this in jail??? I should think not??? Otherwise how could he mention the confession that was made in jail, thought she was found???etc

and maybe because they are young kids on their graduation trip to a beach resort and not anticipating that they will be required to produce a minute by minute account of every single move their friend made?

I have to agree with the poster who pointed out that it really does not matter who met whom when, said what, drank what, who danced, who drank, etc etc.

There is no need to "defend" Natalee, or any of the other kids. Unless someone is suggesting that they may have committed a crime, and I don't mean recreational drug consumption.

The suspicion is that Natalee is the *victim* of a crime, and she would be no less a victim if she were a habitual procrasitnating  flibbertygibbet who was rude to her elders, inconsiderate to everyone she met, barely managed to get passing grades at school and left piles of clothes everywhere and used too much makeup.

WW specifically relayed the email was set on or around June 5th, I believe. The boys weren't arrested until the 9th. If that's true, then there you go. Believe what you will.

IF the letter is Deepak's, why the hell did their stories change?

Anyway guys, have to go to sleep.

Good night.

Do we actually know their stories changed from a FACTUAL source?

Nope but if they did PRESSURE

So all this time when we have been speculating that the pressure had not gotten to them (specifically Joran), to get a confession, it appears it DID! But the pressure (remember Mom VDS said Joran has been questioned for up to 11 hours per day) has not gotten a confession, it has caused a change of stories. Which, based on the ages of the kids, would be very believeable.

But if she was dropped off at HI, she would be the victim of a different crime with other suspects or a different outcome altogether.

Greta...she seems like the only TV journalist who can deliver any clear info about this crime.

Greta for President!

This was an outstanding show.  So glad they got Geraldo out of there and sent her in. She gives Fox a good name.

There was more information in this show than several days shows combined.
