Both absolut and I work for one of the more esteemed technology institutions in the US, as Red and Tom can tell you.  Even if you had the headers from this forwarded email, you would not be able to trace the IP's all the way back to its original source, unless you forensically dissected each hard drive along the way, and there's no guarentee you'd get what you needed.  

I don't work for a more esteemed technology institution but I do work in the IT field.
If your using Outlook as your email client and you click View-Options I GUARANTEE it will list all ip addresses that the email took to get to you.
Unless this guy was doing ip spoofing (which I highly doubt) it will list the ip addresses so you are incorrect RB.

I know that Nats friends are just kids by all accounts, and that they have never been on national TV, interviewed, gone through this, etc..

On Valentijns (Jorans younger brother) site..Tickle..he said..I'm going to Holland..and his friends yelled back...be good in Holland

So I would say it was PVDS and Valentijn who went to Holland. I'm assuming that Valentijn was an undergradute and might not have had extra tests like a senoir (Joran)might have had.

There's an even younger brother than that, too.

I'm almost beginning to wonder why (after 3 weeks) young boys wouldn't crack. It almost seems to me that these boys don't know....Like I said, I certainly am not a troll and I DEFINITELY want to see a happy ending to this story but nothing makes sense......

All I wish is that Natalee's mother would be able to bring her daughter home.....no matter what that means....she deserves closure......

Well, I kind of wonder if there might be a little conflict there in the household - while Anita was in Holland, Paulus (maybe as is his wont) was a bit less scupulous about Joran's comings and goings, as he said that Joran was not allowed to go out late, or something to that effect, although when Natalee's parents went to his house originally he said Joran was at the casino.

Anita might have spoken to him about that, and she also mentioned her husband's frequent absence in relation to Joran's anger management thing.

So there may be some fairly common domestic fluffles with mom trying to hold down the fort and set rules and not getting all the support from dad she would like to, and now this happens...

not really. Greta was in Aruba, they were in Alabama, so they were being interviewed by a person on a monitor, questions in their earpieces, possibly a time delay, and as you point out, these girls are not professional spokesteens, they are just regular schoolgirls in a very extraordinary situation.

All I care about at this moment homestly, is I truly believe that was probabaly the most beautiful moment I have ever seen on TV....I have always said there are many victims and have had feelings for all involved...As far as someone saying Anita did a fake or staged kiss, it is or at least I was raised in the dutch culture with giving a respectful kiss on  the cheek. That was the ULTIMATE show of respect to Beth on Anita's part.

Cali, this has me weeping.  Don't get FOX, the web video didn't show the kiss part.  I too have been saying all along that all the parents are victims.

You captured it beautifully. I think these are ALL loving parents in a heart breaking situation.  They have both lost their children.  No matter what the reason that has to be the most devastating thing to happen to a parent.

Yes but WonderWoman would have the original email and would be able to view and forward the header information. You can easily do a address to name lookup using whois or one of the European name lookup services to verify the validity.

They are holding him because he said he saw the three drop Natalee off at the Holiday Inn. So either 1) The original story was true or 2) Steve Croes is lying.

Another point about the email that I noticed, and it may not mean anything, but something I noticed is that in this email Deepak "says" that they went to Joran's home, they sat there and talked for about 15 minutes, then off to C&C.  He does not mention that Joran snuck out and I for one would not sit around talking with my friends at my house for 15 minutes if I were sneaking out.  He also says Joran would not get up and dance with Nat, but the boy interviewed with Dash on FOX said that he saw Joran and Nat dancing.

OK. Have I missed an earlier post with confirmation? How do we know Anita was in Holland then? Did she say that?

He is a judge in training.  Maybe Joran just told kids he was a judge.
