US networks DON'T PAY FOR INTERVIEWS. Tabloids like maybe current affair might, but the big four don't pay for interviews.

Also, I am confused about them meeting (Joran and Natalee) in the Casino...wasn't it said that they met THAT NIGHT by the friends tonight??  I thought natalee's mom said that she saw video from the casino and that they had met a couple days before...I might be confused...who knows

Damn! Pretty harsh interpretation, but an interpretation that fits my instincts about a high-profile MSM figure.

Apparently, he is not impressed at all about her show tonight.

I was rather shocked to see this on Dan's site.  Greta's blog is meant to be folksy and intimate. She writes from airplanes, airports, etc. I like it.  Dan also shares his emotions, and tells us in detail his challenges in covering this case on his blog.

I think he was off base on this one.

I know that there was rumor that cameras were not working that night at the HI, but Natalee's mom has said there were cameras, they did work, and she watched the videos.  She has said in interviews that she does not know when Nat met Joran and she doesn't care.  She saiid they are only trying to follow the story from when she left the bar and went missing.  Dash said on here and in her TV appearances that she had seen Joran around their casino but did not think that Nat had been "hanging around" with him until that night at C&C.

As is most things discussed here, including the student's varying accounts of what happened that night.  It's speculation and nothing more.  Having any additional information won't make WW content any less or more reliable.  If you wish to go track it down yourself, get a copy on any number of newsgroups.  I'm sure you know how to use one.

If we had ip addresses that pointed to a isp on Aruba it would not be speculation it would be fact but alas WonderWoman cannot provide that information so her letter is in the category of the Dario reporter who said he had people following a car in Venezuala, bullshit!

  All I know is since day one, I watched people pick apart (literally parts) Jorans life etc. Who are we to judge him and his parents. We have enough problems in our country with our own children.

People sat around labeling him because of his clothes, pictures, that unbelievable story that he was a drug pusher or pimp because he was holding money up with a goofy smile (it was only 70 bucks by the way).

Second all this.  After really studying picture after picture of him, his family, mostly from his brothers Valentijn's site,  Joran  never seemed like a cold-blooded killer, or a particularly evil teen.  Yeah, yeah, I know Ted Bundy looked normal too.  My instinct still tells me he did not kill Natalie Holloway.

    Yes, I know, I lived in Britain for four years. But I stand by my statement that sometimes regular networks will pay for interviews. You won't see those interviews on the regular news shows, but on the "magazine" shows.

I'm not trying to scare WW, but she is probably already in trouble for posting this letter. It could be considered  evidence in a missing person investigation and withholding its original source could be considered tampering. The content of this letter is not as important as the date on which it was sent (before arrests were made).

This is a simple enough follow-through - we can just call NBC's business offices and check if they offered Joran or the Kalpoe's $$ for an exclusive interview.

Maybe you're right. I should have mentioned that, since I obviously don't know Greta, his interpretation fits my general notion of what MSM types are like, not any one person.

I feel it's safe to say that, if he had said this about Whorealdo, it would be accurate.
