The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has issued an Amber Alert for 14 year old Alexis Ann Deas missing since January 30, 2015 in Jefferson, South Carolina. Investigators state Alexis Ann Deas was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday at New Heights Middle School.  Authorities believe Alexis left with her stepfather, 43 year old Harland Donnell Melton. Chesterfield County Deputies say that Melton picked Alexis up from school on Friday, who was listed as an authorized individual to sign her out of class. The school reported that Harland Donnell Melton said he was taking Alexis to the dentist.

South Carolina authorities need your help finding 14-year-old Alexis Ann Deas, who they believe has been abducted and is in danger.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has issued an Amber Alert for the next 24 hours. Officers say Deas is a white female with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at New Heights Middle School in Jefferson, SC. SLED says information has been received that the child left with Harland Donnell Melton.

They believe she could be traveling in a black 1999 Nissan Maxima with South Carolina tag IUF 593.

A nationwide Amber Alert has been canceled after police said they found 14-year-old Alexis Deas.

Officials told Channel 9 early Monday morning that Alexis was dropped off at a family member's house in Lancaster County, but did not say when.

Investigators said they were still looking for Alexis's stepfather, Donnell Melton.
