Sounds normal to me that you say in those circumstances "No cameras"'
What would you do? I don`t think ět`s the same way in the US that parents of a suspect invite parents or media in their house in the same situation!

And poor paulus took a while to come to the correct decision to get them in the house and away from the cameras.  He hid behind a bush for a long moment trying to decide what to do then took the bull by the horns.  very awkward, and very dutch.

Looked to me like he darted out as soon as Beth said she was Natalees mom.

And the first words were "no cameras" if I recall.

If he had an agenda wouldn't he want the cameras on so it could be broadcast around the world in a nanosecond?  imo

Good morning, Monkeys.  What's goin on?

Morning wench.. well afternoon here..lol  Smile

This is my last day at this law firm and believe it or not, I have a project to complete so I will not get to hang out here all day like I have been.  I liked my job until recently...but now I don't seem to want to do it...lol.  Anyway, I'll be in and out.  Hoping for some good news soon.

Casinos and Drinking are not a big problem in Aruba and its not viewed the same as here in the states

NO I did not let my children drink or drive before the law said they could. Call me old fashion! I obey the laws!!

not what i heard!!!  why are aruban residence only allowed to go there a certain # of times per year???   Anyone who has been to FOXWOODS has gone thru the impoverished area along the way to the big glamorous casinoes...if RI resricted locals from blowing all their $ there perhaps things be different around that area / in the state too
Odd I never found foxwoods to be that way, the area all the way down to rebecca's steakhouse is almost resort town like. Almost gives off an ambiance like the Pocono's.
Very confused here.  What does Foxwoods have to do with Natalee.

You are absolutly right  there, b/c did you see paulus his hair looks wet?
Maybe he was taking a shower and was anita alone in the room and he had to put some close on

I agree with both of you, I think there are people here making a mountain out of a mole hill on this topic.

I mean, give me a break...how would any of you honestly act answering the gate to Mrs. Twitty under the circumstances. He wouldn't have known who the hell was at his gate. I'm sure he was flabergasted when he realized it was Mrs. twitty....last thing anyone would expect I'm sure. But hey!! He invited her in! Would any of you honestly have done that or would you have backed away and went back intp the house?  Rolling Eyes

With all the media that has been hounding them at their house?

There would have been at least 4 people at his gate and one has a big camera. Also he would not have known who greta is in all probability. Very slim chance.

Today at 11:48 AM, I'm thinking that the previous "he killed her" statement is true and that the police know what happened, but do not have enough evidence.  What they know is based on a third person account that is not an actual witness to the event. It was toned down to "something bad happened" as not to influence the investigation.

Now its 11:49, and after second thought, I'm really not so sure.

Reading the statement, if it is true, the Natalee's family should questioned. Eventhough they might be innocent. At the same time there must not be excluded the presence of the people that came to Aruba for the Soul & Beach Festival.

So why not just tell the truth if they dont have anything at all to hide?

I see I am thinking like several others of you here  --  because 'nothing to hide' is relative.

The thing I keep thinking about is that I am reading he said "she was sleeping and hysterical" or something like that when he left her on the beach.  Avoiding the obvious contradiction here, I can easily see him trying to throw moves on her  and her winding up crying and telling him to 'leave her alone'  'go away' , things like that. Now, he thinks, in addition to being in trouble for sneaking out, clubbing, and drinking...   this girl may claim attempted rape.

He didnt dart too far, he let them in.  And who can blame him for not wanting cameras in his home.  Yall are putting to much blame on them when they did nothing.

Good morning/afternoon all! (((Hugs))

I agree Shell.

I certainly would not people with cameras in my home. I am sure it is more than likely, they have also (being Dutch citizens) been asked to not speak to the media due to legalities.

Most important thing to remember, instead of people STILL picking apart a rather heart felt meeting, is they did not have to ask her in or speak to her. But they asked her right off the bat almost not hearing that she wanted to give prayer card to them.

These are reserved private people, as well as Aruba itself. It is not like they are used to cameras chasing them around and "paparazzi" type behavior.

Yesterday's lead story in the same publication was about thearrest of an american with a bunch of coke on his person transitting the airport.  may be coincidence but could be start of campaign.  you want crime on aruba, well look what your people are doing here.
