ran across missing Beth Hurst, when i went to look at the area
where Kenneth Johns that kidnapped Brianna Crane, 9, was
found. the map says he was,less than a mile from where Beth
Hurst went missing, maybe the LE should check him out, i just
thought it odd

Davenport Police look for missing woman

Police say 42-year-old Beth Hurst was last seen on Saturday, February 21, 2015 around 8:00 pm. She walked away from her home in the area of Central Park and Genesis East Hospital and hasn’t been seen since.
Hurst is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall weighing 135 pounds and wears glasses. She has shoulder length auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing yoga pants, a camel colored V neck sweater, and long dark maroon coat, along with boots that are brown on the lower half and black on the upper half.

Body found that matches description of missing Davenport woman

A woman’s body, matching the description of a Davenport, Iowa hospital worker missing since February 21, was found on the bank of Duck Creek.

Beth Hurst, 42, was last seen walking near her home, in the area of Central Park and Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, Iowa at about 8 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015.  Hurst was scheduled to work at the hospital the next day, but she did not show up for her shift.

Police, searching in the area where she was last seen, found the body of a woman who fits Hurst’s description at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 on the bank of Duck Creek, north of the playground and pedestrian bridge.

An autopsy was planned to determine the cause of death, and foul play was not immediately suspected, Sievert said.

Services for Beth R. Hurst, 45 of Davenport, are 6 p.m. Friday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport, with visitation from 4 p.m. to services.

Beth died March 11, 2015, in Davenport.
