It can also be a long time between parking spots.

While all guys don't sport cadillacs, many believe they do.  Sometimes their bike is their only form of transportation, while others walk.

Finding a spot to park must be really tiring as when they are finished parking, many need to go to sleep.   Wink

As for your signature line, Joran's idea on how to treat a lady, what he's basically saying is "If you won't sleep with me, I'm outta here...See ya later!!"

In a crabby mood? Perhaps some of my humor will cheer you up.

Terry, I just woke up from a nap and read this...I love reading your posts...you always put a smile on my face! Spooky started the day with a feel-good message....thank you for paying it forward  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Talk abot paying it forward, I've got a LOT of that to do with family and friends who busted their kiesters to get me moved. It will take years of hard (though loving) work to do. Many of my clients offered to help, God love every one of them. Of course, that is a no-no, so I could not take them up on it. Was touching to know they were willing.

If we could get the makers of The Simpsons to okay the stamp, it could well catch on and become a popular, nationally used stamp.

Why do flamingoes always lift one leg?

Because if they lifted both, they'd fall over.

What do you get if you cross a chicken with a nun?

A pecking order.

I would revise that and suggest he says: "If you won't sleep with me, YOU'RE outta here...We won't be seeing you later!!"

He is adjusting. We were at the old house house yesterday. He was walking from room to room, talking about how "This used to be Mom's room" and "This is where I watched TV and played games". He started sobbing, the poor kid. He'll be okay, though. Both his father's and my family are here. Grandmas, Aunts and Uncles, and cousins are but a short distance away. Not to mention some of my closest and longest known friends right here (30 year reunion is next month~ looking forward to it!).  His mom won't be so tired from the commute, or as stressed over finances, too little time to do anything but have mini nervous breakdowns over work to do, sleep deprivation, etc. All of that will give me the opportunity to be a more attentive, patient and caring mother. He will benefit greatly. He just does not realize it yet.

Actually, the stamp idea was DKpens then someone else came up with the label idea - actually I think it was Anna with the labels.  Here's the thread.

I'm listening to some Traveling Wilburys and I think Carnut would like their song Dirty World from their first albums..  Those that don't know the group, its made up of the best:

George Harrison
Bob Dylan
Tom Petty
Jeff Lynne
Roy Orbison

Yes, really liked them.

Passed on a chance to buy a Traveling Wilburys guitar once, shouldn't have.

Carnut,

I was joking earlier about parking spaces and this song kinda just added to the joke..  Too bad you didn't get the Traveling Wilburys guitar, it would be priceless..
