I am reading what you have to say with interest.  Will read as long as somebody is posting or try to at least so you will not be talking to yourself if I can keep eyes open.

I think the remark about Natalee was not holding a drink in her hand is meant to imply that if she had one, she was careless with it, had set it down some place or other and why just anybody could come along and put who knows what into an unattended drink like that!

Good catch about the drink, Anna.  You are right.  He is trying to imply someone put something in her drink (besides his paid lacky) at that point.

We can figure this thing out.  Everyone is doing a great job.

Well, if reading these 6/9 statements tells me anything...it is that the 10 days the suspects were given to concoct these lies were invaluable to them. An early arrest, seperation and interrogation of the suspects would have denied them the chance to EVER put a story together that they could agree on. At least not one that didn't involve a 15 year stay at KIA.

Just give me Joran's fingernail scrapings from May 30 as well as all hair and fiber evidence and normal forensics being taken at the home of the suspects including but not limited to drains, cesspools, etc. and we would not be here.

Joran goes to C&C one to three times a week and does not know what Jellyshots are.  This is an honor student?  He should have looked them up on Webshots or any of the photo repositories on the internet where tourists store their vacation photos for it is part of the routine at C&C and not nearly as salacious as it is being made to sound.  

Did anyone from MB ever confirm the jellyshots?  That Joran was such an innocent until Natalee got hold of him!   Yes, she was leaving her drink unattended and in Aruba, that's just asking for it and entitles anybody to put anything in it they want, island rules.

The girlfriend in New Jersey who he spent the summer with broke up with him because he was "too nice."  I wish Justinmama was here to confirm my belief, but I have heard there are men who cannot have sex without violence or force involved, because they have a "mommy" complex.  Has anyone ever heard that before?  I think the big bully has a "mommy complex," as we have seen him patting her like she was his favorite animal, that he chose not to kill, as with his dog.

Anna, you could be right.  Either way, it is meant to play into hiw defense, if needed.

I don't think I can read these statements much longer as they truly are sickening.  We know now that he told lies during his statement.  He is in the police station, admitting to doing things that are illegal and not only once, but repetitively.  It tells me he has no respect for the law, is not afraid that he will get in trouble, and even seems to thumb his nose at the polis questioning him by telling them he has a history of not being law-abiding.

Hopefully, mama has gotten him help with his lying issues because they are pervasive, imo.

I think Freddy did spend the night there.  I think he received the transmission.  He was going to be Joran's alibi but the alibi did not work and Melody, like Steve Croes, got caught up in a web they were weaving.

Do we know if she asked for the shot and layed on the bar or if he asked her to lay on the bar and then he ordered the shot?  I simply can't believe he didn't know what one was.

He spends an awful lot of money in a brief time.  How much does he spend on his planned nights out?

Thanks, Tyler.  It was Anna who is tired.  I am sick of the whole thing, it makes me nauseous.  I can only take it in little chunks or it makes me blow chunks.

The only person I ever heard say that about the jelly shots was Dan Riehl and we know that very early on he was in cahoots with the Sloots.  I did hear Dave alude to it one night on TV but not anything definitive. I am not going to try to quote him but he said something to the effect, "yeah, we have heard about the jelly shots and all the..." AND AT THAT POINT I THINK HE WAS INTERRUPTED FOR ANOTHER QUESTION.

The Chicago vids, and I believe there are two of them aboard the Tattoo party boat do appear to be some sort of mass hysteria of a crowd in a sexual frenzy of some sort.  

I wonder if there is more of putting drugs in drinks than just the targeted female victim, if it is done on some wholesale scale at certain bars or on party boats to get the crowd in the right frame of mind.
