Anna, we just can't take this lying down. To me, that judge from ny is every bit as culpable and corrupt as Smid and PVDS.

I think that we are going to have to fight back hard, and LOUD, against all those who want this case to go away. We are going to get nowhere at all if we don't seek redress for all the setbacks that family has endured. What is being done to them is plain WRONG and I am sick of it.

So much good information last night from the time the Joran "statement" was posted.

Klaas, is there anyway we can extract those posts including the ones made by Lala's this morning and others when we are talking "specifically" about the statement and time line.

San, Anna, Bearly Here and others have done some great thinking on this.  I would like to maintain these for posterity if you could find it possible to save them to a thread for reference.  I would hate to lose all that brain power put into them.

Also, about Angelina of Cyberzone, I wondered if she is Nadira's younger sister, perhaps by another father.  The sister who was referenced we were told is younger and is a Ramirez, in other words, possible that she is a child born to Nadira of the man she is living with now.  I heard it said that the Karpool brothers have different fathers, and so I would assume so does this "young" sister.  I think it not impossible for her to be named Angel also.  I believe Angelina (in my heart, no evidence of) to be Nadira's baby sister.

SB, I think that would be detrimental to the case to boycott New York as all the big media are in NYC and they have helped Beth and the family immensely.  We cannot boycott our largest city in the country because we find some judge offensive.  NYC has been a big player in the War on Terror and continues to be.  Nobody has suffered more nor worked harder than the citizens who are pro-war-on-terror than Rudy and his constituency.  Suffice it to say, we cannot boycott our country when we have a president we do not like or a state when we have a governor we do not like.

Joran says he knew Natalee wanted to have sex with him.  He went all these places knowing he didn't have a condom?  Couldn't he get one from his friends?  If he didn't have any condoms, why didn't he stop for them?  After all, he put down megabucks plying her with alcohol, why not buy condoms?  He had to know he didn't have one.

This blows a hole in the condom theory to me.

Laughing Yes, his condom is full of holes.

That's what I was thinking when I wrote it.   Laughing

I just want to jump in here with an observation that, today at liunch after church, the lunchtime discussions I had with others touched on the new york angle and how much $$$ Aruba makes for the fatcats up there. And of cours, how "new york's taxpayers" somehow simply can't "afford" to give Natalee's family a shot at justice.

Soooo... how about LET'S BOYCOTT NEW YORK!

No travel there!

No spending of $$$ there!

No buying of products with a new york nexus where new yorkers can profit from our money.

I know that's a tough concept, but if all the rest of us Americans would isolate that socialist city, maybe it would at least make a small dent in their pocketbooks and they would realize we are something more than just Flyover Country out here in the REAL USA.

Just thinking out loud about SOMETNING we can do to enlarge our clout and get people to take heed of what we want here...

Justice For Natalee... whatever it takes.

SB,

I am a New Yorker and a "New York Taxpayer" and only want just for Natalee and her family.  I never made this an issue of North vs. South or East vs. West we are all one country and I am proud of our entire country.

The judge has made her decision and I accepted it.  I might not agree with it because it did not go the way I wanted.  She made her decision based on the information that was presented to her.  Deep down in my heart I always felt that her decision would go the way it did.

When a former poster like Dilbert suggested the other day on the front page how about we boycott New York my answer to him was please do.  I could care less what people like Dilbert say because his opinion is worthless to me.

SB to say I'm disappointed in you is an understatement.  Please feel free to boycott New York because this New Yorker will always support Natalee and her family.

No body tells me where to spend my money and that includes the so called fatcats in New York.

By the way SB will your post isolate me from our posters from the south because I am from New York?   No need to answer because your opinion is worth just as much as Dilbert's is to me.

Well, I will enact my own personal boycott of the state and city, and encourage those who agree with me to do the same. We simply HAVE to send a message thet injustice toward Natalee is unacceptable, even if it comes from this country's officials. I applaud Bob Riley, Spencer Bachus and Condie Rice for standing up for Natalee publicly, and I have left a couple out, I applaud them too.

I would like to see what further steps the state of Alabama can take against Aruba. I'm not convinced that Beth is without legal options here at home.

Why not send Bill O'R e-mails asking him to expose some of the cases this judge has been associated with.  I think if you do that, you win.  My fight is not with NY because I am sure most NYers feel the same as we do and I love my "yankee" friends.  I think our fight is with the judiciary who felt she did not want to expend the time and money on the case.  She was saying she did not have the brain power to do it and that her taxpayers would not want to spend the money on it.  Who are her taxpayers?  Aren't they Americans who have fought and died for justice?  Then you see clearly, SB, that it is not NY or NYC we have a fight with, but a judge who could not find the gray matter with which to press forward.

Isn't Beth's lawyer from NY?  If Beth is sticking with NY, then so am I.

I think a NYC Boycott is a no go.

The crosshairs should be squarely on aruba where they belong.

I was afraid that going through the courts in NY could hurt the family.

Sometimes we have to "Thank God for unanswered prayers."  This may be one of those times.  I don't know.  I am leaving this in God's hands.  It is scary at times but I think when the time is right, we will see why things had to be this way to get justice for Natalee.

Bearly, I agree.  God answers our questions and prayers in His own time, not ours.  He has a plan for whatever it is.  We know not what His plan is but we can rest assured, there is a plan.  We must remember when we pray that His will be done, we must be willing to accept the consequences because His will is not always what ours would be, as He has divinity on His side.  There is always a time when we can look back over the years, if we truly are believers and trying to conform to His will, that we will have an epiphany and say that we understand where we have been and why and that it has enriched our lives in some way, even the difficult times.  I try to remind myself of that when a loved one is sick and/or dying, that there is a reason for it.  God does not put us through these hardships but allows us to suffer them for a higher understanding and compliance with His will.

.

The crime happened in Aruba, not NY.  The cover-up, corruption and collusion happened in Aruba, not NY.  May not be a popular opinion at all but I happen to think the NY judge made the correct decision.  Oh, how I wish we could get that Joran on the witness stand before a competent attorney but none of the parties even reside in NY.

Just not NY's problem.  It is Aruba's problem and I think Aruba should be the one to pay and pay again for it.

And speaking of Spencer Bacchus, and someone did, SB I think, what exactly is it he has done of a constructive nature?  Last time I saw him, he was in a corridor with his tail tucked between his legs having just taken a tongue-lashing from the likes of Arlene!!  Something about they didn't like our wiretaps.  Tough, Aruba!  Whatcha gonna do about them?  Attack us with your army??  Oh, you don't have an army?  Well in that case, shut up!  Shades of that comedienne I forget his name.

Anyway, I would love a trial in this country but the witnesses and evidence is all in Aruba where it is all very likely to stay.  If Paulus can get $28,000 for three days of his time, what do Dave and Beth get for their child and the last year of their lives??  Hit them where it hurts and make Aruba pay.  They must like to do that or Paulus would have been still a suspect instead of being rewarded.  Sue, Beth, Sue!  Go, Dave, Go!  Use their own crooked system and beat them at their own dirty game on their home turf where it all happened.
