28 year old Ashley Pegram has been missing since April 3, 2015 in Dorchester County, South Carolina after she went out on a date she met via the instant messaging service Kik. Pegram, a mother of three who lives in the Clemson Terrace neighborhood near Summerville, left home about 9:30 p.m. on her date and has not been seen nor heard from since.  According to the incident report from the Sheriff’s Office, Pegram’s family identified the user name of the 18-year-old man she went out with. According to her sister, Pegram was not carrying a cellphone, credit cards or other identification.  Ashley Pegram’s sister shares a cellphone with her, and they were able to find text messages indicating the man lives in Hanahan. The acquaintance Pegram met via Kik and who would be the last person ever to see her told police that she was heavily intoxicated so he kicked her out of his car around midnight near Main Street in Berkeley County.

If you have any information on Pegram’s whereabouts, call  Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office at 843-832-0333, or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.

Really, Ashley Pegram was heavily intoxicated so her date kicked her out of the car around midnight? Who is he, Joran Van der Sloot? Who is buying that story?

Woman, 28, reported missing in Dorchester County

Deputies say Ashley Nicole Pegram was reported missing by family on April 4. Family members say they last saw Pegram on Friday, April 3 around 9 p.m. when she left to go on a date with an unknown man that she met on the social media site "Kik."

According to the family, Pegram never returned home or made contact with family members which is uncommon for her to do.

An incident report states the woman's sister found text messages between Pegram and her date, who identified himself on the dating application as 18-year-old Emoney Dom of Hanahan.

Dom reportedly told the sister that he kicked Pegram out of his car near a Kangaroo Gas Station on Main Street in Berkeley County around midnight.

Detectives are continuing to investigate Dom's involvement.

Deputies say Pegram was last seen in the early morning hours of April 4 at a gas station on College Park Road. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Foul play is "a definite possibility," Dorchester County deputies say.

Detectives say Bonilla spoke with deputies on or about April 8 and provided information about Pegram's disappearance. Court documents state detectives following up on that information learned it was false and misleading. A judge set a $400,000 surety bond for Bonilla Thursday morning.

Woman missing after online "Kik" date; arrest made

Police in South Carolina have arrested a man on an obstruction charge in the case of a woman who went missing after a date she arranged through a messaging app, reports CBS affiliate WCSC.

Wednesday night, deputies arrested 30-year-old Edward Bonilla and charged him with obstruction of justice in the case, Dorchester County Sheriff's Capt. Tony Phinney told the station. Police confirmed to WCSC the suspect is the same man she went out on a date with that evening.

According to the station, Bonilla is accused of providing false and misleading information about Pegram's disappearance.

The BS Story ... told by Bonilla

Quote
Pegram's sister told the station she discovered messages between Pegram and the date on her phone, who identified himself on the messenger application as 18-year-old "Emoney Bon."

"On the Kik message that I saw, he said, 'Hope you made it home okay. Sorry I left you at the gas station," reports the station.

However, police say surveillance video tells a different story. Sheriff's officials tell the station Pegram was last seen on surveillance video at a gas station, getting out of a car she was riding in with someone else and going into the convenience store before returning to the car. The pair is seen driving away together around 1 a.m., reports the station.

It's not clear if the person seen in the video is Bonilla.
